I really liked that it looks weathered; the whitewash effect gives it character. Because it's so neutral, it's very versatile. I can even turn it upside down for a different effect!

Beautiful. Hinges move either way. Very happy. It was pricey, felt like an investment, but so glad that I did.*Update: Over 2 years later, this has held up to 2 kids rough housing and occasionally summersaulting into it. Would definitely purchase again- very sturdy.

I love the character this piece has!I wanted a pet gate for my cats but none were tall/wide enough so I ordered this to keep my cats in the front of my house so they won’t use my chihuahua’s litter box and stick to their own LOL. I was worried they’d find a way around it but it’s sturdy enough that they’ve already given up batting at it. It came with a broken slat but it’s nothing some super glue won’t fix.

We own a gaming place, slot machines, in Illinois. We wanted to make the area where the slot machines are cozier for our guest. We bought the dividers to separate the seating area from the gaming area. The dividers worked out great. They are very light weight, maneuver well, and are sturdy for our purpose. Now please be aware that the wood is thin, which causes the dividers to be light weight and need to be bent at each latch, so they do not fall over. If bumped into, depending on the bump, they would very easily fall over though (no bumps so far). I would not hang anything on the dividers, e.g., a wreath or the like, as I believe the dividers would crack, break, or fall over. We have had no issues with the dividers, but we are not using them for a heavy-duty purpose. The dividers are just being used to stand in two places. The one divider did come with the top wood separated, as others have shared. I think it happens in shipping. We just used a little wood glue, not worth shipping back, and it worked out well. We are using the dividers on a tile floor. We do not know how they would work on a carpeted area. We loved the two tone white wash effect. We are happy with our purchase.

Don't bother purchasing. This is very poor quality. The divider has been delivered to my house broken twice. The wood snapped at a corner and the panels fell out in the box prior to ever being opened. The first time, Amazon replaced it. When the replacement came damaged, I gave up and asked for refund. Lightweight is right, extremely poor quality and not worth the price or effort.

I like the looks it goes beautiful with my coastal Decor. I did not like the price I think it was overpriced for The quality. It should be a lot sturdier for that price. But, being light weight has its advantages

This divider does exactly what I hoped it would do; i.e. provide some privacy for "spill over" guests while they sleep on the daybed in our sunroom. It is attractive when shielding them and folds nicely when not in use. All around perfect for the job.
