Not a horrible one, but still
I thought this was going to be a stand alone but it is a cliff hanger. Not a horrible one, but still....It is a shame, too, as the story line has promise. There are quite a few things that are mentioned but never explained or given background info, which is frustrating. The first half started out well but the second half was so full of grammatical errors that I was constantly pulled out of the story. The next book is $4.99 -- way too expensive when I don't care enough about the characters or the story line and don't want to be guessing as to the meaning of the writing.

Just because she comes from Hell doesn't mean she's all bad!
Caith is kickbutt, funny, passionate and possibly a couple bottles short of a crate of crazy! Between Browning going on strike, gator petting, Demons and Weres of various descriptions thinking they can just take, take, take - Caith is kinda having a bad time lately. Oh and add in one tall, scrumptious and all too Angelic potential Mate - oh dear, oh dear. Orlando has never been more on the doorstep of hell as when some a&%hat decided to mess with this princess of Hell!!!

No consistency
I really didn't like this, and previously I've enjoyed Celia Kyle's books, even though it had the same premises as a lot of the books I love. The heroine was supposed to be kick-ass, but she way over the top, too whiny and not very sympathetic. And I really disliked the discrepancy between how she was supposed to be the the biggest and baddest, but still got her butt kicked by pretty much everyone around her, it really ruined any credibility. And I think she might have a couple of personality disorders as well.As for the story, it was a mess. And the emotional roller-coaster was so bumpy and twisted that as a reader you never got the chance to tag along. The editing grew steadily worse, with lots of missing words and strange scene jumps.I think overall it just lacked consistency

WOW!!!
Wow! Hell's Chapel is similar in some ways to her shifter series, but totally different at the same time. So many twists and turns, it was hard to keep up--I fully admit to having to read a couple sections twice to ensure I didn't miss something since there was so much going on. Caith is Satan's niece and the daughter of 5 VERY different fathers (including Father Earth) and has way too much on her plate keeping Orlando's "tween" inhabitants in line. Can we say evil with a heart??? It's hard to give a good review without giving too much of the story line away, just keep in mind that the male half of the story is a partially fallen Angel of Destruction. Sounds like to match to me! However, like real life, there are numerous rough spots (understatement of the year!) in the relationship and the ending definitely left the story open for CM2. Can't wait for the next installment!

Story is addictive
Quick paranormal read that has plenty of twists. Lots of action and not for the young set. Characters get your attention and has a bit of different plot compared to other similar genres. Editing could use some work. All in all I'm getting the next book in the series.

More Hell's Chapel PLEASE!!!
I absolutely LOVED this book and cannot wait to read the next installment in this new and exciting series. This author definately knows how to pull you in and make you fall in love, hate, cheer, want things for the characters; as if your shouting at the book would let them hear you. Hahaha. To feel as you really know the characters. To feel as you are truly there while this epic story is unfolding. GREAT JOB Lauren Creed. I will definately be back for more!!!! However, I am NOT a patient person, so I'm really hoping it won't be too long to see what happens next, as there's so much I NEED to know..... On the edge of my seat awaiting the next book. I love books that make you FEEL.If you haven't already, please check out this author's alter ego, Celia Kyle. You will NOT be disapppointed. I have almost ALL her books, and never read a bad one.

A Holy Hell of a Good Read
Lauren Creed AKA Celia Kyle just blew my mind. I won't go into explanations on the story as other reviews can do so and really, you should discover and enjoy it for yourself. I'll instead explain what I loved about this story.I adore Caith and Sam. Caith is the perfect combo of good and evil, walking that gray line and dishing it out to those unworthy of her presence. Sam is swoon worthy, with his chivalry and humor. The description doesn't do justice on what an amazing journey this book is. There are some truly emotional moments, both huge highs and deep lows, and her character development is mind blowing. Even the side characters were fully realized. Caith's wittiness and reactions to events felt realistic and true to character. Moreover, I appreciated her sense of self, how solid she felt in her skin, with who she was. While a sexy and exciting book, it's Caith that makes you interested. I certainly look forward to the next chapter in her life.

Amazeballs
I am completely floored with Hell's Chapel!!I'm really not a huge fan of zombies and vampire killing stories but when you have Celia Kyle as the writer you can count on her story to be freaking AWESOME!!I love Caith with all her HILARIOUS quirks and odd drool worthy obsession of shoes!!I'm heartbroken and beyond pissed at Sam yet just as Caith I have hope!Hell's Chapel is everything a book should be... I laughed... I cried... and I felt the heroine's heartbreak as if it was my own.Soooo happy I dont have to wait to continue Caith's journey!!

Excellent plot, great characters.
This book drew me in from the start, there is not a single boring chapter or character to be found here. Caith is a complex and interesting heroine from a very strange gene pool. She has 5 fathers and her mother is the sister of Lucifer, yet she turned out fairly well balanced in a kick ass kind of way. Add in some other strong characters, both good and bad, a semi fallen angel as the love / lust interest and some unusual pets and the book gets even better. I will definitely read more from this author,I don't know where Ms Kyle gets her ideas from but I sincerely hope she keeps getting them and keeps writing these brilliant books.

Awesome book.
Wasn't sure about this, but I'm so glad I gave it ago because it's brilliant!Snarky, witty and totally badass is the words I'd use for Caith Morningstar. The Princess of Hell, Lucifer (Lucs) niece born of five powerful dads and one HELL of a mother, pun intended. The owner of Hells Chapel bar in Orlando.Sam is an Angel or gel who literally 'fall's for her.Things start going wrong, when 'things' with green eyes start going after her.I'm giving nothing more out just READ IT!!!

Sooo good
This book was devoured by me in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down. I hope that it is part of a series because I'd hate for the story to end there. All the characters were believable and the storyline was great. The interaction between the main characters was highly charged and I didn't want to see the twist at the end but at least that leaves the opening for hopefully the next book.
