This product can be your best friend. Or it can be your worst nightmare. Be respectful of what this is. This is NOT Draino. Take precautions. Read the ENTIRE (very) fine print label before even opening the outer wrapping.For me,, this product is my best friend. My tub had the worst clog I've ever experienced. I used a half dozen different brand name products that didn't move the needle including hair buster products. I used sink snakes to little affect. I tried vinegar & baking soda... I tried Coke. I tried everything I could think of. Absolutely nothing worked and plunging the standing water after every shower would help the tub empty in 7 or 8 hours. I've known about sulfuric acid for years, but wasn't sure I wanted to go this path. But my only other alternative was hiring a plumber. So I ordered Kleen-Out Sulfuric Acid Drain Cleaner right here on Amazon. I read the label. I made a checklist before I started. I made sure there was no standing water. I even blow-dried the Drain first. I applied Vaseline to mask & protect chrome Drain plates and seals. I had prepared 2 separate neutralizing solutions. I measured & marked a glass for the correct dosage. I used large plastic bowls to place the glass in when I poured the acid & to place the bottle in incase any drops or spillage happened while pouring or dripped down container. I opened windows, directed fans towards them, and turned on the bathroom vent fan. I took every precaution. Then I started. I poured the acid into the drain & within 30 seconds started hearing sounds of things moving. I had a timer set for 5 minutes. Then I poured 2 cups of room temp water in the drain. I waited another 5 minutes and then repeated the process. Then I SLOWLY poured the 1st quart of neutralizing solution into the drain, being cautious of splash back. Then I ran cold water shower for 15 minutes. I used the 2nd quart of neutralizing solution to neutralize the glass, the bowls, the outside of the Kleen-Out bottle. I used a zip lock bag to contain used gloves etc. The fact that I could run the shower after 10 minutes when I couldn't clear this drain in 6 months had me doing my most wildling Mark Madsen dance. Fantastic results!!!!

This stuff works great and it's fast. My bathroom sink was completely clogged draino and liquid plumber didn't even touch my clogged sink, but bought this and within 15 mins drain was clear and draining perfectly. I will buy this product again.

I have used other drain cleaners that are based on sodium hydroxide and bleach and they never really worked. This sulfuric acid based drain cleaner works every time. I follow it with copious amounts of hot water. It works!

Awesome drain cleaner. After 10 minutes my drain was clear and no more clog. Wear a mask and gloves and protective eyewear.

Seems to be a professional grade product. Be careful, acid will etch you and many materials. I ran a 1/2" diameter down the drain all the way to the clog, attached a plastic funnel to the top and made two applications. This saved product and degradation of the intermediate piping. If your trap is clogged, disassemble it and clean manually. If the clog is deep in the piping this may be what you need.

On my sink; I try everything and nothing worked; this stuff in less than one minute; and only 1/2 bottle. Good as new
