Dritz Omnigrid 7-Inch-by-7-Inch Mini Fold-Away Portable Cutting & Pressing Station,Black

I bought this in 2015, and somehow just noticed the "please rate your purchase" email now, in July of 2020! Well, better later than never, right?This tool is AWESOME! Perfect size for my paper-piecing projects. My only complaint would be that it should be sold in a two-pack. I use it at home, and also take it to every sewing retreat and guild meeting. If I had a second one, I wouldn't worry so much about accidentally forgetting to pack it!

Size fits perfectly on my sewing machine table and keeps mini-iron easily within reach to piece n press quilt pieces immediately. Love it. Excellent choice.

I enjoyed using a friend's Omnigrid 7'' by 7" Mini Foldaway mat and press and decided to get myself one and order a second for another friend. So easy and convenient to use the pressing pad (with my mini steam iron) on the one side and a cutting mat on the other for small projects and especially if I'm taking a class; so easy to transport. I can leave small blocks on the open mat, then fold closed and press down the little Velcro tab to hold it closed. Don't know why it took me so long to get such a useful tool!One problem is while using the Omnigrid cutting mat or the pressing mat, it wants to slip a little as I press down with the iron or rotary cutter. I think I can remedy that by using a non-skid mat (made for stopping rugs from slipping.), cut to size underneath.

Perfect travel size. This will come in handy for quilting on the road. It is small enough to tuck away in a tote or suitcase. While it does not have the grid lines on the cutting side, it is still very nice and I am so glad I bought it.

Love this! Together with my Clover mini iron, it makes a great portable crafting station. I can use this just sitting on a comfy chair when I'm hand piecing or quilting, rather keep getting up and down to iron or cut little pieces and seams. Only thing missing is a measuring grid on the cutting mat side, but otherwise it's perfect.

This is a nice size for smaller projects and for travel. It's just as nice as the larger cutting/pressing station I purchased from Amazon. One of the selling points is the description says one side is a gridded cutting mat. This is incorrect as others have pointed out. The cutting mat is plain with no grids or measurements. The packaging is misleading as well. If you look closely at the photo on the packaging you'll see there is a see-through ruler/square on top of the mat.

I needed some way to press small seams as i built my quilt blocks. This has been a God sent, and it fits in my sewing Totto easy for travel

I knew what this was and wanted this exact thing so no disappointment. Do be aware, as others have mentioned, the cutting side is not gridded/has no measurement lines. The picture makes it look like it does. I use this for mariner compass' and other similar projects that need small pieces ironed quickly with a Clover or whatever you use.

A small portable craft cutting/iron board. Perfect for my needs. Would recommend

Very useful and a great item. It would have been even better if imprinted with ruler/grid on the cutting surface.
