Wish I would've followed the directions the first time!
I'm from Canada and can't get sparkle paint so I ordered this to add to my paint but was concerned that it would get caught up in the thick paint and wouldn't work. I didn't listen to the directions on the package - did tons of research online and thought the peeps at the paint store (and I) knew better. WRONG! For my daughters room I used it with a teal green color and painted overtop the color with the sparkle in a clear coat. Problem is you can never get a truly "even" coat so where we doubled up (edges etc.) it has more sparkle. The good news is that it still looks pretty good because the color is fairly light. In the master bedroom I painted a black wall and thought we would do the same - terrible idea and terrible results. After being frustrated and seeing that it looked blotchy we did a test area with sparkle in the paint as directed and guess what, it worked and looks absolutely beautiful. Just a hint of sparkle in the right light. I used Aura paint, added in tons of sparkle and now with directional light shining on it from my lamp and chandelier it looks great. It's a good product - try following the directions first (except maybe less paint, more sparkle ratio) and test it out!

Yay!!! 5 stars and big smiles!!!
The media could not be loaded. So this was backordered and took a really long time to get but it was totally worth it! I researched glitter additives for interior wall paint and chose this, I'm glad I did. They say to add 2 packets to a gallon of paint, 3 if you want it extra sparkly. Well, I was using 2/3rds of a gallon of paint and I used 4! It's gorgeous. The paint color was a pale blue/grey. This does not change or alter the color of your paint. I wanted this to put a little texture and flare on a plain surface with imperfections and it did the job. It is not "in your face", it is subtle.. but gorgeous. The glitter really plays off of light and shadow. Portions of the wall that are very brightly lit (by lightbulbs) are less noticeable, almost hard to see but the portions of the wall that are not in the direct light are super sparkly and as you move the tiny flecks catch the light and just gleam! Now natural sunlight of course sets the wall ablaze in sparkly awesomeness! I loved it so much I even did 2 interior doors. Hell I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what else I can paint. I think in the future I will add this product to every single thing I paint. Not kidding. Super impressed! I want more!**Excuse the mess and craziness in the video i just really wanted to try to capture the way movement affects the finished look.

Great product!
I ordered this product after paying much much more for actual glitter paint that you paint on top of paint. It looked horrible! I ordered this to paint over it. It is beautiful. I used more then suggested and it looks great! I have one happy daughter and I’m a happy mom because it doesn’t look like a kindergarten art project like the other glitter paint did.

The media could not be loaded. I used 3 bags for a gallon and the glitter was pretty great. Use 4 bags for more of a glistening affect, 3 I say is more subtle but noticeable when you move around.I was contemplating on giving this 3 or 4 stars because if the texture of my walls. When I touched my walls they were a little rough. I thought thendust would have fine enough to meld with the paint well enough to have a smooth feeling finish but unfortunately it didn't. I bought a satin finish and put this in my bathroom. The walls didn't feel as nice as the walls in my kitchen which also had the same finish.I ended up giving the product 4 stars because it did what it was supposed to.

Love this to make your walls sparkle lightly
This is the best price any where. It is a fine dust and used in paint, creates a light sparkle to the walls. Also used in my grout for my backsplash.

Excellent stuff!
I put two packages in a gallon. It's a delightful shimmer to my light gray walls when the light hits it, either from the sun or from my overhead. In ambient lighting there is no real shimmer. I love it. Love love love. Seriously. Love! It's an elegant touch to my living room, however since I'm a bit "out there" I would have been thrilled with three or four packages added to a gallon!! It still wouldn't have been crazy sparkle, but definitely less subtle. Still, two packages was enough to make me love this stuff and I'm happy with what it did. I used a Valspar tinted paint plus primer, and it worked as advertised. So, don't worry about not using the particular paint it's made for.

Not worth it the money
Don't buy unless you only want to see shimmering of the glitter if the lights are on. I bought 4 packages for 1 gallons of paint and unfortunately you can't see unless I have ever single light on. Very disappointing

Just perfect for my ceilings!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product after the Sherwin Williams guy laughed at me for asking if they carry any glitter products for paint so I could copy my grandma's ceiling from when I was a kid. (Apparently that isn't in style anymore, but I told him that I'm bringing it back!) I mixed three packages in a gallon of paint and it was the perfect amount of sparkle for my textured living room ceiling. I had about 1/4 gallon left and mixed it with 1/4 gallon of unglittered paint to use on a flat textured ceiling in another room, and am happy with that, as well. In both cases, you do not really see the glitter until a lamp is turned on underneath, and then it is subtle magic. I am ridiculously pleased. I intend to get more obscene with it in my bedroom and use several packets for a flat ceiling.
