Credit/debit card scamming is a fast growing criminal activity and I for one am scared out of my tree and know several people who have had their bank accounts raided. I do have a RFID wallet but it's old and I realised that those scammers are getting more updated as time goes so when I did a bit of research these cards consistently came out with some of the most positive reviews and so I purchased them to enhance my card security, so easy to use: put in the wallet and forget, they are exactly the same size and thickness as your average debit/credit card and are thus very practical and having tested them in a real life situation with the permission of the shopkeeper I can testify that they work, the cards blocked the card reader even when i tapped the card on the card reader, the unfortunate souls who I knew had been scammed had their details stolen whilst out and able and only found out they had been robbed of their account when they tried to purchase something later or when they get alerted by their bank...these excellent cards can prevent that so I'm actually giving them unofficially 6 stars. A top buy.

I’ve had this card protector for quite a while now, and I’ve tested it multiple times in different stores to make sure it works. Each time I tried paying with my card while the protector was behind it, the cashier’s touch screen couldn’t scan it – exactly what I wanted. In a bid to save myself from having to carry my phone AND my wallet around with me, I recently switched to contactless payments via Google Wallet, meaning I could leave my actual wallet at home for convenience. All was fine until a few days ago when I discovered - while trying to by a monthly train ticket - that my bank has now lowered the maximum transaction limit for contactless payments. And of course, I didn't have my card with me to complete the transaction using chip and PIN! How INconvenient! Lo and behold, I am now back to having to carry my card as well as my phone! So, I bought a new phone case which allows a card to be stored in the back. This got me thinking about potential "card clash" issues, and the obvious security concerns around contactless payments being made from the card in error. So I looked for an RFID blocker, and came across this one. Despite NOT being "ultra thin" as described (it's the same thickness as a regular credit card), it fits snugly in my phone case's card compartment along with my payment card, and having tested it this morning, it seems to do the trick without affecting payments being made via Google Wallet! So now, I still have my card with me in case I need to make a payment using chip and PIN, and I know it's safe and secure the rest of the time. Perfect! Please note that if you intend to purchase an RFID blocker for use in your phone case as I have done, you should check the location of the NFC antenna in your phone relative to the card storage location. If they overlap, the RFID card will likely block contactless payments from both your card AND your phone. So it's worth keeping this in mind.

a very usefull thing to have these days , only trouble is it dosnt stop me from spending ! . i have one in my purse next to me card, and my other half has one . very good price too

Bought for myself and hubby. He liked them so much he bought some for his friends in his crown green bowling club. Mainly elderly gents the cards made them feel a little safer.

What a great product. Works really well too! Fits into purse along side me cards. Tested it by trying to add a bank card to the electronic wallet on my mobile and it could not find the card until I removed the blackout card that was shielding it. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend

wollte nicht zum Opfer eines sich immer mehr häufenden Datendiebstahls von Bankdaten werden und Vorsorge treffen. Habe lange recherchiert über den Schutz durch RIFD Blockern... habe mich dann für diese Blocker Karte entschieden, da sie in der Größe der Checkkarte entspricht und genau in das Kartenfach im Geldbeutel passt. Heute einen Test an der Supermarkt Kasse gemacht... meine Checkkarte mit der Akielo RFID Blocker Karte hintendrauf aufgelegt und nichts passiert . Es kam die Meldung Karte erneut probieren.. dann habe ich die Blocker Karte weggenommen und sofort konnte die Transaktion durchgeführt werden. Also was soll man sagen, es funktioniert gut und ich fühle mich jetzt sicher. Die anderen Karten habe ich an die Familie verteilt. Top!
