Heptameron: or Magical Elements by Peter de Abano (2015-03-16) Paperback – 1875

To be honest I was a bit skeptical of these books, primarily due to how low the price is and due to the publisher being unknown to me. However, the contents are as described and all of these books by this publisher are great, inexpensive primers or intros into Grimoires and mystical or occult study.I would recommend these books to the Novice practitioner. For some titles, this publisher is the only source to acquire the works in a bound form (as opposed to PDF or used copies) but with other titles, there are better versions out there with introductions and commentary that help with interpreting the material.I would warn purchasers of this work and others that, while debatable, many if not all of the rituals found within these types of texts do work if done correctly (especially those printed by this publisher as many are black or dark magik). Without having the proper mindset or understanding, one can get in over their heads and tap into things that the reader or user may not be prepared to handle. I would caution against playing out the rituals in your head when reading, as thought has just as much power as words.

The information in this book can be found elsewhere, but this is a wonderful addition to any occult library if you want the primary source.
