Cup Cap Accessory, 1 EA

Works great but Yeti really needs to come down in price on accessories. Also if it’s cold out you’re pouring a hot beverage into an ice cold steel cup.

I absolutely love this cup and the 18 ounce Rambler bottle from Yeti. It won’t be for everybody as it is quite heavy due to it robust, over-engineered construction - Typical for a Yeti product. Also, it’s not cheap. But, that is also a positive and that this is a beautifully engineered product that could last a lifetime. I bought this cup because I had a very specific problem I wanted to address. I have travel mugs that are well designed and constructed. Examples include the Contigo West Loop and and a bottle from Zojirushi. Both are outstanding travel cups. My issue is that these cups do a very good job of keeping the coffee hot - too hot for me to drink and enjoy. My options where to let the coffee/tea. cool down before I put it in the travel cup orto take the lid off of the cup and let the entire cup of coffee cool down. I had to frequently check to see if the temperature was to my liking. I wanted a set up wherein if I made coffee at home and brought it to work or if I purchased coffee in a shop like Panera, I could pour coffee into the Yeti cup., then let the coffee or tea cool to my liking. Then as I drink, I could constantly refresh it with hot liquid from the Rambler bottle. This set up has been exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier. As I mentioned, this is a heavy cup and the Rambler is a heavy bottle. I also bought ainsulated bottle from Zojirushi that came with a cup. Zojirushi makes terrific bottles that keep liquids scolding hot for a long time. That bottle had a clever, push button stopper design for dispensing the coffee or tea. I felt like that stopper was going to be difficult if not impossible to properly clean. The Yeti cup completely, and easily disassembles for cleaning. I can even do a quick clean in the bathroom sink of a place like Panera. Also, the cup on the Zojirushi was smaller and uninsulated. As a result, the coffee/tea cooled off too quickly. Also, the cup could get hot and uncomfortable to hold. Conversely, the Yeti cup is vacuum insulated and retains heat beautifull. It is always comfortable to pick up. For my needs, this was perfect a perfect setup. I would buy the Yeti cup and Rambler bottle again in a heartbeat.

If you are going to use your Yeti Rambler for hot coffee or tea you should definitely invest in this cup and cap combo. The cap has an easy to use feature allowing you to twist the upper section one quarter turn and pour your beverage without removing the whole cap. Pours perfectly, no drips, no leaks. Everything is dishwasher safe and easy to clean. The stainless steel cup will last forever and it's also insulated. Th price point is slightly higher but the value is there. This will last a long time.

Very substantial contruction. Works well but perhaps a bit overdesigned/expnsive for what it does.

I have nearly a dozen lids/tops and this is the one I always go for no matter which Yeti Im using, unless its for the golf course, lol. But it easily gets used 3-5 times a week.

De las mejores opciones para tapas en Yeti. Lo tengo para un Rambler 26oz. Medida justa y tamaño genial. Respecto a su mantenimiento, se tiene que tener el cuidado de lavarlo seguido ya que al interior entre las cuerdas de su mecanismo de apertura, se pudiera quedar atrapado humedad o residuos de lo que se use para beber. Lo volvería a comprar si tuviera otro yeti en el cual sea compatible este modelo de tapa
