Korea: The Never Ending War

Educational
I didn't know very much about the Korean War. I learned a lot about the War from watching this documentary and now have a better understanding of the conflict that still exists today. I also wanted to know a bit more about my father who served in the war, but never spoke about it. I have more compassion for him now.

Pay attention to the title of the documentary: Never Ending War
This is not a documentary on the Korean War per se. It is a history course on the Korean Peninsula from the end of WW2 up to 2019. The end of WW2 to the Korean Armistice was 8 years. This documentary covers over 70 years of Korean history. If you are looking for a lot of details about the Korean War you will be disappointed, but it's a great crash course of modern Korean history. I personally was looking for the crash course, that's why I gave it 5 stars.

A bit of propaganda
In this documentary a statement is made, here it is.Jager: Truman leaned from Hiroshima and Nagasaki that no true victory in that sense is possible anymore and so he really wanted to limit the war.How does this even make sense? After Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan surrendered. How does that teach a lesson that no true victory in that sense is possible anymore?

Vry helfpful history of Korea since WW2.
You will understand Korea today better if you go back to the Korean war of 1950 which this video does. It is very thorough.
