Easy Classical Masterworks for Violin: Music of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi and Wagner

We bought this for our daughter, who is taking violin lessons and has progressed past basic little tunes, and requested the next level of sophistication. The book arrived in excellent shape, and the pages of sheet music are clean, and in a font big enough for her to read easily as she plays.

This book has a lot of songs but they're not the full song. For example, Bach's Menuett, BWV Anh 114 is one of the first songs you learn in the Suzuki method for violin. In the Suzuki book 1 you have the whole song but here you only get the first 16 bars. I really wanted more from this book. I'd prefer to get less songs if I got the whole thing

It will teach you very simplified songs since it is for beginners so it does what it offers. They are almost to easy. Also there are some very interesting depictions of the composer in the book that take up a full page each.

It's wonderful to be able to play and enjoy these classics.

The pieces are exactly as I expected; font is easy to read when on a music stand. Excellent value.

This material is easy enough for a recent beginner; but, challenging enough to make a new violinist like my granddaughter who's instructor says if she were any better after only one year in public school strings would almost qualify as a prodigy.

This book of Classical music is going to be perfect for my beginner students. Thank you. It's beautiful, love the sketches in it.

My son uses this and it is helping to sharpen his violin skills.

Disappointing, thin book and half of it has childish drawings and blank pages. Would not recommend to buy at all. Maybe at £5.00 but not worth £10.99.

Easy is the operative word here. These pieces are very simple to play, with little challenge to push the violist, although they are good enough for fingering and bowing technique practice. Most of the pieces will be familiar to those who like classical music. The print is decent sized and readable, and this book should be suitable for anyone with basic knowledge of the instrument and a desire to play something more than scales and the same old basic learning pieces.

A couple empty pages, not a whole lot there, has a few pieces, includes guitar tabs. Best for beginners, not past intermediate.

Our 12yo son is enjoying this Violin. It seems to be well made. It may need new strings as I’ve heard from others, but is sounding nice so far. He loves it!
