I had to wake up my phone and try to hit the tiny "forward" which was obviously not a good idea while driving
I got this remote specifically to help me listen to music on my phone in the car. My car has an audio input so I can listen through the speakers, but I have to still control the music from my phone. If I wanted to skip a song, I had to wake up my phone and try to hit the tiny "forward" which was obviously not a good idea while driving. This remote has solved the problem and lets me easily (and without taking my eyes off the road) skip forward or backward or pause my music in the car.The price of this is right, and I appreciate the simplicity. I do wish the forward/backward button and the up/down volume button weren't directly across from each other. It's not a huge problem, but you do have to hold the remote in a position that prevents you from pushing one of the buttons unintentionally. But, I appreciate that the raised markings on the buttons make it fairly easy to tell them apart just by feel.For a simple, relatively inexpensive remove, this one does the trick.

Wonderful with one small exception - not for 24/7 hour use.
Almost perfect with one serious short coming. I have several bluetooth multimedia remotes to control music on my iphone plugged into a dock across the room from me. I use the remote periodically to pause music when the phone rings or someone comes in my office. I have another bluetooth remote that always takes two presses, one to wake it up and wait as it connects, then you press and it will pause. This remote works instantly without having to wake up.The problem that I later realized is that it's better for the remote to go to sleep. For it to be on all the time drains the battery within a few days. There is a slide switch on top to turn it off, but that's too cumbersome for me. Sadly, for my particular use, wanting to have it connected 24/7, this isn't the perfect remote. But I can see for short term use, it would be perfect.

Description Misleading
Product description says you can use this remote to start and stop video recording and that the device is compatable with Android OS 4.0 and higher. My phone meets the requirements but it can't be used to start and stop video recordings. I tried going to the manufacturers site but it is mostly in Chinese even when translated and very hard to navigate. If I waa using it for self-esteem or controlling the music player that would be fine but I bought this special if I can for recording videos. Oh well, didn't lose too much on it.I am neutral on recommendations.

Functional product, some design issues.
Functionally it works well, but the buttons on the side are tough to press without hitting those on the other side. For example I always hit the track back/forward while trying to adjust the volume as they are directly across from each other on the sides of the remote. Its also tough to pull this thing out of a pocket without hitting a button since they're on all sides. It would be nice if all the buttons were on the front and could be more easily identified. super small and light and easy to pair.

Buy It-You'll Like It..
The Bluetooth Multimedia remote is a very nice piece. It was very easy to pair with my phone and tablets. It is very easy to use. Easy to distinguish which button to use(even in the dark). It works flawlessly for controlling the camera and media player on my phone. Would, definitely, recommend this remote. Buy it, you'll like it.

Works Well, But..
It works well but I don't like the physical placing of the buttons. As you can see in the picture, it's all black---including the buttons---and that forces you to memorize which button does what and where it's located (Right/Left sides and front).Another issue that I would suggest the designers improve on is making it "wearable", say as a watch on your wrist; otherwise, you have to hold it in your palm or pull it out in case you hang it down from your neck.I didn't give it 5 stars because of the inconvenience of using it in real-life situations.

A grudging 5 stars.
It broke... still 5 stars. The clip (for like a key chain) broke within 3 minutes of opening it. Its crap... but... for 6$ and I didn't need the clip... it's a perfect toy.

On a Mac, it only works for volume and ...
On a Mac, it only works for volume and to play/pause music. Does not work to advance slides using PowerPoint, Keynote or Google slides
