Bright and beautiful but will I test the fate of time?
It is vibrant, and overall a good case. However I'm questioning the durability of it over the long haul with the back already seeing wear and tear and it's only been hours. Other than that it is a beauty to look at

Camera Blocked by Metal Ring
The camera is blocked by the metal ring. I had to take mine out with pliers, then use scissors to widen the camera hole even more. I had to cut back a lot of the case to not see the blurriness in the corners. But a fairly sturdy, durable case. The wake/sleep function doesn't always work, so I've gotten into the habit of manually powering off the screen before shutting the case.

Fire HD 8 (5th Generation)
I had a heck of a time trying to find the right cover for my tablet. As mentioned in the headline it perfectly fits my older Fire HD 8 (5th Gen.). My husband bought me the tangerine colored Fire tablet and I can use any of these particular covers to change the style I'm feeling. I bought the Forest/Mountains cover and it came with a sky-blue stylus which was a pleasant surprise as I was not expecting one. The little button and holes etc. align really well with this cover. I'm quite pleased with my new cover, thanks!

No elastic for holding in hand
The sunflower case is beautiful. The reason it won't work for me is there is no elastic to help hold it in my hand when it's not on a surface. I have an arthritic thumb and not having this is a deal breaker for me. Sending it back

Pleasantly surprised by the quality
I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of this case. The colors are vibrant and exactly what I wanted. The only thing I have to note is It’s hard to find the volume buttons by touch due to the design of the actual part of the case that hugs the tablet. Not negative just something I’ve noticed. I’d definitely buy another!

Case fits perfectly.
I got a pen like pointer which I love as an added bonus. I use it all time now instead of my pointer finger to play my games. My kindle case fits perfectly. The only negative comment is the stand/stopper which is not thick enough to catch my kindle and make it stand alone while I play my games.

Beware before buying!
Fits perfect except at top with power and volume buttons. The top does not seat fully thus having you use the tip of fingers to control them. Otherwise it is a perfect item for the Fire 8.Added note: The sleep/wake more does not work on this cover. Very disappointed with this major feature missing.

excellent choice for an affordable case
it's vinyl which is good because it gets used in the kitchen a LOT; it works exceptionally well as a stand; it appears, after quite a bit of use, to be very sturdy and well made. the cover design is very attractive and, as a nice bonus, it comes with a stylus. very happy with my purchase.
