Well... I needed a tacho for my classic mini just to get an idea of what the engine was doing at certain speeds as my car does not have one as standard.Wiring was pretty simple. Once you get your head around how they work you’ll be golden. Use a multi meter to find the correct wires and all will be good.Overall works well and is working. Purchased as a cheap alternative to more expensive ones so I don’t mind if it does not last long.Downsides are it’s hard to screw down as the body over hangs the holes so I only put one in could try double sided sticky too. It also has a blue light for at night but in my opinion this is no biggy as it’s only me who see inside at night.I have had no experience of changing it for different cylinders I’m guessing mine came standard for 4 as it idled at what was set previously for the engine.
