For one thing, it's not in pill form, so if you have problems with taking pills, this will deliver all the goods in a liquid form. The taste isn't super fabulous, but it's definitely good. I mainly take this product because of my painful charley horses that always come on in the middle of the night. When I take this product regularly within a short time the charley horses all but stop! Magnesium is actually also very good for your heart, joints, and bowels. If it affects your bowels too much, just take a teaspoon full instead of a tablespoon...or alternate nights. But taken on a daily basis it has really alleviated my painful charley horses!
