We use it on a utility truck in Texas where blue is legal. Probably good for a police impersonator as well....

Decent light for price
The media could not be loaded. This light is bright, simple to use, & goes back to the setting you used prior. I paid $18.99 for the red/white so it really isn't a bad light for the price at all. I wish it had a mirror to help reflect instead of just black plastic. It does bounce off your windshield a bit at night, but not bad. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that the suction cups are SUPER hard to put in place on the metal brackets. I bruised & scratched the side of my hand trying to get them in the holes, you'll probably need a tool of some kind to help push them into place (I used an ink pen but probably could have used a screw driver). Make sure you clean & dry your window & the suction cups before applying. Suction cups did fine, so far so good for me. :-)

These lights are junk
I bought two of these lights for two of my trucks. Both of them already have bulbs out. It’s ridiculous. They didn’t even last a month and a half.
