They look really good...
These look great. If you get these just for appearances then you need not read ahead just buy them.If you enjoy using paddle shifters on a regular you will have to make some minor modifications to make it function right. Since the plastic housing for the shifter pin isn’t wide enough, you shifter can “stick”. Meaning you might have to manually unclick the shifter after pressing it. You can simply widen the housing by using a small drill bit or even a little screwdriver. That should take care of the sticky shifter and have it clicking nicely.Other than that just avoid pressing the shifters on the extreme upper edges unless you want to risk a very expensive repair.

Looks great, doesn't improve shift reach by much
Definately an improvement over stock. I installed these on my M4. The silver was very nice. My only gripe is that if you pull on the very top, the actual switch mechanism binds. You still have to have your hands closer to the 10 and 2 on the steering wheel for a crisp shift. Kinda defeats the purpose of these extended shifters.
