Expensive but a good printer

Printer works very well

As a company we have used Dymo labelers for years and have always had issues and have gone through multiple labelers and have never been happy.We switched over to the Brady BMP41 and are nothing but impressed! It feels extremely durable and prints the labels so fast! The other feature that is nice is the label tape is easy to peel and stick to your item. You don't have to spend a ton of time fighting the corners to peel the label.Overall super happy and will now purchase these for all our technicians.

Nice label printer. Was a bit bigger in size than I expected, but not unwieldy, though it is a bit heavy to hold for extended periods. Better to use it on a surface like a table. I'm disappointed that the PC software is so expensive as to make it unaffordable for non-businesses (just regular people, home use). So the only other way to use it is through the unit itself, which is pretty basic and slow-going to design labels. I was hoping the PC software would be affordable and allow more options (the PC software probably does allow more fonts and better, quicker layout possibilities). It would be nice if there was a watered down version of the software that was cheaper.(Any photos that show CD(s) with this starter kit are showing only USB printer drivers and user manuals. The PC label printing software - LabelMark - is NOT included.)What's nice is that there is a dizzying array of labels available for this printer. All sizes and media.There is little waste, though I have discovered that at the beginning of each label there is a little wrinkle in the label about 5/8" or so into the start of the label. You might be able to ignore this wrinkle. But if you want a nice, cleanly printed label, you might want to start at least that amount from the beginning of the tape and print many labels in succession, using scissors to cut them when done.

If you need a printer that gives you high functionality, a TON of options, and you need to make high quality labels you have found it. If you want to make labels for the spice rack or the tool shed this might be a little much for you. Otherwise, excellent printer.

This is the best label maker I've owned. I've used Dymo and Brother printers and they are no where near as feature rich as this model. Add labels that have 10 years of adhesion and I was sold.

I have no idea it was a gift

This device prints continuous labels, asset tags, direct to heat shrink, laminated cable labels, panel tags, etc. Literally everything I could ask for. The custom software also works fairly well - im impressed by how much detail the printer can handle.
