If I'm going to be putting something into my mouth every day, it'd better be quality.
I ordered two hammered gold sets that looked nearly identical:1. Hampton Forge Essenstahl Paris Titan 20-Piece Flatware Set, Hammered Gold, EFB85G20QT Hampton Forge Essenstahl Paris Titan 20-Piece Flatware Set, Hammered Gold, EFB85G20QT 2. Flatasy Flatware Set Shiny Gold Hammered Mirror Polish 20 Piece Service for 4 Home Kitchen Restaurant Hotel Use Flatasy Flatware Set Shiny Gold Hammered Mirror Polish 20 Piece Service for 4 Home Kitchen Restaurant Hotel Use After receiving both it's clear that the Flatasy set (#2) is inferior to Hampton Forge but as cheap knock-offs go it's not terrible.Color========================The Hampton Forge set has a richer gold color than the Flatasy set. The Flatasy set is closer to brass. As this is just a preference based on your personal tastes, I gave them equal points for color.Weight========================The Hampton Forge set has a bit more weight to it, which I prefer. That said, I tried many other flatware sets (about 5 others in just the past few weeks) and the Flatasy is still better than all those. It's a close second to Hampton Forge for sure. Where Flatasy goes wrong is in the balance. Hampton Forge silverware is perfectly balanced (see picture), whereas the Flatasy silverware is unbalanced. They obviously didn't consider balance at all when doing the forgery, because when you hold some of the utensils it just doesn't feel right. Parts are heavy where they shouldn't be and vice versa.Shape========================The shape of the silverware in both sets is nearly identical. The only major difference I saw was that the hammered parts of the Flatasy set were much deeper, in my opinion overkill. The Hampton Forge set seems appreciably hammered as you would expect it to be whereas the Flatasy set is bordering on a "honeycomb" look.Packing========================I never thought I'd talk about the unboxing experience of silverware, but for sure the Hampton Forget set came in a MUCH nicer box. Both sets could have had much more padding but at least the Hampton Forge box came in one piece — the Flatasy box had ripped open and it's contents were spilled inside the larger box that it was in (with some other Amazon products I had ordered). The only point Hampton Forge loses in terms of packing is the fact that the 20-piece set only came with 18 pieces — I am missing a small spoon and a small fork. I am going to contact them and hope they can send me those to complete the set (I'll update you if they get back to me).Price========================When I purchased these items, they were only about $35 difference (Hampton Forge being more expensive). That's not really that much money, and the differences I pointed out above would alone be enough to warrant paying that much extra. But perhaps the main reason to pay the difference is because the Hampton Forge set comes with a Lifetime Warranty which — although I can't attest to how well they honor it — makes me confident in their product. On the other hand, the Flatasy set comes with a laundry-list of warnings, for example to only use "mild detergent", to never put it into "salt, soy sauce, vinegar, soup" for a "long time", and it must be hand dried apparently. I'm sure some of the advice is probably good advice in general for any flatware set, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence.Honestly, if the Hampton Forge set is worth every penny more if you ask me.- ReasonP.S. I also reviewed several of those and these are the best match for this flatware:Alef Judaica Napkin Rings - Highly Polished Wide Hammered Elegant Brass Ringshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F9IEV7U/

Good quality and pleasing to the eyes
Been looking for a gold set for a while now and finally decided to get these after comparing with other brands. Been using it daily for a week now. So far, so good. It’s very pleasing to the eyes and it levels up any table setting.

Quedan hermosos
Me fascinan a pesar que me costo mas caro que otros que había conseguido de los mismos.

Five Stars
I have now used and washed my flatware about 6 times, usually by hand, 2-3 times in the dishwasher, and the finish is already deteriorating on some of the flatware
