Pure Acoustics HDS-50 Wireless Portable Sound Bar

I bought this speaker for biking and I wanted to be strong enough to listen to music while I am biking. It paired with my phone easily and started to work. I am really pleased with the quality of sound, it is clear without any static. First I thought it might not be loud enough for when I am biking but customer service helped me to take care of that through my phone. I love this little speaker, it made my weekend biking perfect. I consider ear-sets unsafe and I believe it is important to be aware of surrounding while doing outdoor activities. I highly recommend this speaker for outdoor activities. I just hope I could figure out a way to set it on my bike without hanging as I am afraid the hook give up and I loose the speaker.3/30/15- If you decide to take your little bluetooth speaker out of the shower and take it for a bike ride, the bicycle mounting is a must to have. I love mine. I hope you can see it. I am not so good at taking pictures07/22/16- This is one year later. All this time I loved my speaker, great sound but couple of month ago the red light that showed the speaker is charging disappeared and last week the blue light the indicates the speaker is charged didn't come on and since then the speaker doesn't charge anymore. I can charge it all night and the next day after a minute or two speaker goes off. I don't know if that is the life time I can expect from this speaker. I noticed that this bluetooth is not being offered by Mooi Tech and when I checked product offered by them, this bluetooth speaker was not included.

Please try this speaker. I bought a JBL MICRO for 3 times the price and it didn't compare to this thing. The sound, especially the crystal clear highs, that revealed sounds in songs I've listened to my entire life to life. Great bass for its size as well. I am having trouble understanding the negative reviews. Everyone I show this thing to they break out the phone and order one for themselves. Add in insane battery life (I'm averaging 6-8 hours volume depending) and the water resistance which I've tested, cinch bluetooth connectivity, song choice buttons on the speaker without touching your phone, incredible customer service (emailed me twice already to ensure my satisfaction) a lifetime warranty..all for $25??? You need your head checked if you don't try it out..and no..I don't have any company interests for this review. I will be ordering 2 more. BTW I dropped it onto the concrete twice..never skipped a beat and doesn't have a mark on it.

Bought this is to replace the SoundBot that quit charging after just two charging cycles. The sound of this speaker is amazing! Very rugged design and extremely easy to operate. Uses the micro usb as a charging port. This makes one less cord I have to worry about as I can use my phone charger to charge it.The only thing I could not get work with my Android 5.0 phone was the battery indicator. It worked phone with an iPhone 4 and an iPod. Anything higher than Android 4.3 and the indicator did not work. While it's a nice feature it's not a deal breaker as I do have devices in our household that will show it. I did email them about it and they did say they would forward it to their engineering department and that it could just be an issue with the latest versions of Android.If you want the best, look no further!

This is seriously the coolest little bluetooth speaker ever. I love the fact that it is waterproof. We float the river a lot in the summer time and I figured this would be perfect for that. It has a suction cup on it so it will suction right to our raft -or a shower wall- which ever you choose. It also comes with a portable hook so you can hook it on wherever you need it. I love the color of it, the light blue reminds me of the ocean.The size of it is perfect to take with you wherever you would want to have some music, and it has a handy little carrying bag that comes with it too. We are definitely going to be taking it camping with us this weekend. It is so simple to set up, it connected to my phone instantly. It is easy to use with clear instructions on how to use it and what each button is for. For being so small, the sound that comes out of it, is amazing! Very clear, no static, easy to hear and easy to control the volume. I was asked to review this item but all opinions about it are my own.

Update: After just over a year, this item is in the junk drawer. The battery won't hold enough of a charge to be useful, and the product emits a very annoying low battery charge beep even when on the charger and the battery is low (which is nearly always the case).I initially complained about the low battery and got a partial refund, but it's worse to the point that it's no longer a 'wireless' speaker.----Original review;I wanted a waterproof Bluetooth speaker for listening to podcasts in the shower. This one looked a little better than a lot of the really cheap looking alternatives, even though to be honest most of the Amazon reviews seemed to be astroturf.Anyhow, I've been pleasantly surprised. The speaker is attractive and looks well made. It doesn't look cheap at all. The sound is clear and loud, and the battery life is impressive. I've been using it for several weeks now and it's still running off the initial battery charge.It's not perfect though. The design with four buttons on opposite sides of the 'puck' means that if you try to press the button by squeezing the thing, you'll probably end up accidentally pushing the button on the opposite side. You have to learn to hold the thing carefully to operate the buttons. It's not hard, and the buttons themselves are nice and large and tactile, but it seems like a fundamental design flaw.Also, it came with a really cheap fake 'carabiner' for attaching it to things that was broken out of the box.But overall, it seems like a good device, and for the price, I'm quite happy with it.
