Better then other of this theme which is very violent...
Very sexy and endowed women with abundant cleavage in all areas. Other quality stimulating erotica out there as a whole not too offensive or degrading: Fireside Orgies, Naughty Escapades, Visions of Giovanna,Casotto, Omaha Collection 1, Felines, Great Moves, Stray Moonbeams, Attractive Forces,Erotic Comics 2, Just Bloomed, Pirate Queens Booty, College of Erotic Sciences, Three of a Kind, MagaryA, Tharnara & Juda, Nagarya, Frollo, Little Ego, Fairy Tails, Wet and Wild, Leather and Lace, Devil's Whisper, Barbarian Chicks and Demons etc.-Note: Although some of these titles sound depraved, they as a whole they aren't nearly so bad as the titles may convey... or like me you can just cut or tear out the offensive parts as much of it very well done (Why is there so much talent yet so little sensitivity, respect, empathy and humanity towards one another...especially women, portrayed sexually)???.

Classic story plus feverish imaginings
One classic of written word, more than any other, presents back to back images of violence, incest, betrayal, brutal warfare, and degradation of captives. It practically begs for a lurid rendering in graphic (and I mean !graphic!) novelization. That book, of course, is the Old Testament (Gen. 38). This rendering, suitably lurid, presents a telling of Onan's story. Yes that Onan, from whom we derive our word for onanism.I haven't gone back to King James or any other source to check accuracy, but the broad outline of Thamara's story seems believable. She's really the central character of this sordid saga, no matter who it's remembered for. It starts with a drunken father, selling her off for a few more flasks of wine. One of the good guys, Juda, examines her in depth to establish virginity. He then passes her from son to son like some party favor. Onan appears as one of those sons, with poorly explained problems around the marriage bed and a poorly explained death after a poor performance. Then, once the calendar says it shouldn't happen, widowed Thamara shows up in the motherly way. She's about to be burned at the stake for fornication when, all of a sudden, she demonstrates not only that a man was involved, but a man of high political standing - oops, so sorry, didn't really mean that stake for you. If he's the one, then we just wipe the record and welcome the fruit of your womb. Now, take all that, and add babes of bounding boobage, clothing transparent when present at all, and men with massive endowments and chronic priapism. If curvy hip and cantilevered bust mean more than individual distinctions between one woman and another, and if you tolerate some amount of aggression, non-consensual activity, and perversity, then this Bible story might be for you. I'm still thinking.-- wiredweird

The bible is a horrible book and this shows that
This story right out of the bible with all drawn graphic sex...The bible is a horrible book and this shows that.

Have to think about the next one by this author
The writing is off at times with misspellings and has very little sex in it. The women are drawn beautifully as they all are in these books. I guess I was looking for more sexual encounters between the characters and a better storyline. I don't know if I would purchase another by this author if it's the same as this one. I will give anything at least one more try.

Sexy artwork...totally bizarre translation
Translated from--I'm not sure, some language other than English, making for a clumsy, oftentimes nonsensical work of mush. Horribly-bad transitions between chapters leaving the reader what in the world is going on.Pneumatic, sex-crazed females, well-drawn (though terribly inconsistent--as if drawn by a very young or very inexperienced artist). Worth a look if you like this type of stuff.

Another Riverstone Winner
I started seeking out this author and artist after running into the "Nagarya" series. As stated with other reviews, the text can be quite confusing. I understand that it is translated from French and that may have a lot to do it. The amusing part about the dialogue is that most of the time, you will be reading very old-style English as if you were reading excerpts directly from The Bible. Then when you come across lines like "hang out", "chill out" and "I was bummed", it'll kind of throw you off a bit. I don't know how close this story comes to Genesis 38 as I am not one who knows my Bible verses in and out, but the story flowed fairly well for me even though the dialogue had me needing to read some lines more than once. The art work in itself makes up for the deficiencies of this book. Vivid and stunning artwork that I have come to appreciate since picking up "Nagarya". Be warned, the artwork is VERY graphic but beautifully renderred. I can tell the artist has a lot of experience on the female form as that is what stands out in this book. All other figures, particularly male figures, not so much. I am awaiting my next order to arrive - Judith & Holophernes - to see if this book is as visually stunning as the rest. As far as the dialogue, let's just say that I won't hold my breath...

Good draw art
I love these books because Riverstone surprise us with his particular style, it is fantasy genre, not good to have a real idea about the biblic history about Juda.

????=what?
dialogue is questionable and makes no sense in certain situations. Artwork is great but reading leaves much to be desired.
