My previous Halti lead is still going strong after 2 years but I wanted this one because it is longer, but can also be used on a shorter setting. I wanted the 2 metre option to reinforce recall training which seems to have become an optional command!Also, with the various attachment points, you can loop it around your waist, across your body to be hands-free. Also can be tied to furniture etc when you need your dog to stay put.My other Halti has an adjustable buckle which works well for hands-free walking because I have a small waist. If anyone else is walking my dog, they can change the size. This model doesn't have an adjustable buckle but has a number of fixed D-loops to adjust to pre-set lengths. I find this set-up works better cross-body for me as it's too big for my waist. To make this perfect, it would be nice if there were an extra D-loop but this is reasonably priced and high quality and sewing in another attachment point would increase cost.Just to note, it doesn't have a handle as such, you adjust the length by attaching the clasp to whichever loop you want and this creates a "handle". I find the material soft, light and comfortable to hold. It's strong but not bulky so I can wrap it around my hand several times when I want to make it very short e.g. when crossing the road or passing people on a busy pavement (wrapping around hand or wrist not recommended for powerful dogs or dogs that pull on lead).Well-made, durable, secure, well-designed. Recommend for anyone who wants a versatile lead.

The leads themselves are great, with a good feel as they're smooth in the hand. However, the neoprene has come loose with wear over time. The adjustable option is useful, although I haven't used it for training purposes.I purchased two of these, one to go around my waist and the other to link in, allowing me to walk the dog hands-free but with the option to pull her in when needed. Overall, I will buy more of this kind. They've held up well, except for some stitching and wear in certain areas

I have a English Bull Terrier and the lead is perfect.

This lead has been one of the best things we've bought since having our Golden retriever. She's young and excitable but very strong and this lead gives me much more control on walks when clipped to both her collar and harness. She tends just to walk along beside and doesn't lung or bolt in one direction any more. I feel very confident walking her alone now when using this as a double ended lead due to the better control. It's thick, comfortable to hold and can be used in many ways due to the multiple rings and 2 clips. Would highly recommend.

Bought this for my 40kg GSD. It's a fabulous lead not hard on the hands even when she pulls. I had an issue with the stitching as it started to open.. Contacted the company and they have gone above and beyond with their response.. Excellent customer service. Best I have even dealt with. The halti brand is my favourite for leads. I only replace a 12 year old one as the clasps had started to stick and come open. Don't hesitate to buy, from this company, if you do have an issue they will respond and rectify immediately.. I have given 5 stars for all as it is only a stitching issue and was resolved quickly.

I love this leash! High quality and all the different hooks make it so easy to hook the leash on my parked stroller or a tree or poll if we are at the park. Love the purple color I got too.
