Not bad quality, but too small
Doesn't really fit my right hand, being a man of 6'1", but I use it anyway. If you grab something really hot, like out of a 450F degree oven, expect the heat to penetrate in about 5 seconds. This is typically enough. The best feature which is why I got it is that it prevents you from burning the tops of your hands.I like that it's made in the USA, and it's why I paid extra versus another brand, but because the size is wrong, and it looks just like all the others, I'll get something else for my left hand.

It has a loop to hang over a hook so that it is easily accessible when needed
These are made in North Carolina, and are thick quality oven gloves. It has a loop to hang over a hook so that it is easily accessible when needed. I read the description carefully enough so that I knew it was only one glove, so I ordered two. They work well as long as they are dry. I have used them to pull a chicken out of a tabletop convection oven, and to grab a ham, as well as to pull hot trays out of the oven. Whereas lesser gloves start getting hot after about 20 seconds or so, I have had no problems with these gems. That they are American made is a plus, but I would not recommend them if they didn't work. If you have really large hands, they might be a bit tight. My hands are small for a man, and these gloves are roomy enough for larger paws, but fit mine just fine. Heartily recommend these.

Developed hole in 3 months
I bought two gloves. The outer material developed a hole between the base of the thumb and the forefinger on one glove within three months. It appears that another hole is developing on the forefinger. The gloves have not been washed or used to hold sharp objects. The big hole appears to be a manufacturing defect in the weaving of the joint between the thumb and forefinger. I called the manufacturer to see if there is a warranty and there is none. The gloves have worked fine. Nothing has slipped out of my hand. I generally wear men's large size gloves. These gloves are snug and the fingers are a little short, but the size is not objectionable to me.I had one "Ove Glove" for more than 10 years and washed it several times. It never developed any holes, but lost its shape and looked dirty, so I replaced it with two of these.

they're great! They really block the heat and I have ...
Although I wish these gloves were just a little bit smaller, overall, they're great! They really block the heat and I have a completely secure grip on everything going in and out of the oven. I consider them far superior in every way to the old oven mitts I've been using all these years. I love the fact that I can wash them, because try as I will, they're getting pretty dirty. They're just big enough that I get the tips of the fingers in the food. If they don't launder well, I'll edit this review.Bottom line? I'd buy them again, and I would recommend them without hesitation. And I love that they're made in the USA!!!

Great oven gloves
I bought these because they were made in the U.S. I felt that the quality would be what I was looking for and haven't been disappointed. They are well made and do exactly what they are advertised to do. As with most all hot mitts or gloves, they are designed to handle the hot item for a limited time period. They work really well for transferring something from the oven to the counter or, at the most, into the dining room. When I use them for transferring a casserole from the oven to the dining room table, I am definitely aware that the pot is very hot as the heat is starting to leak through the gloves. The gloves were well worth the price.

Fabulous and Made In USA
This glove is fabulous! One can use it on either hand. I have used it to take red hot (400 degree F) cast iron pans from the oven with no problem. I was drawn to the product because it is made in USA. It would we excellent if HotStuff made a similar glove of elbow or at least somewhat further up the arm length. I sometimes do large amounts of cooking at a synagogue and have burned the area between elbow and wrist several times. If they ever make one, I will be first in line to buy one.

Love these!
Love these. My friend who is a chef recommended these. Dealing with the seller was good too - I only received one glove in my shipment, but there were supposed to be two. The seller immediately sent another with no issues. Very happy with these gloves!

The best oven gloves available. USA!
We use these for all oven and stovetop hand protection, mostly cast iron pans at 450 Fahrenheit. 4 years of daily use and dozens of washings later they have finally started to lose insulation value. They still work just get a little warm, thatโs some all American quality and durability. Ordering two more right now.
