Bulbs fine but two arrived broken
Giving up on figuring out Amazon's system of letting them know they broke two bulbs in delivery. Bulbs were fine, the two that didn't arrive broken, that is. One was shattered in the box, the other had a broken filament.

Work
Worked just fine in my oven. I like having the extras on hand, you never know when they’re gonna go out and it’s not something I think I’m picking up at the store. Much better price also.

Good durability! Heat rated bulbs matter for ovens.
First bulb lasted nearly 2 years in a home oven where non-heat-rated incandescent appliance bulbs were burning out after weeks. We sometimes also leave the oven light on to germinate seeds because it raises the temperature in the oven just a few degrees. However, the cement holding the glass bulb onto the base can wear out from the heat. It came apart when I tried to turn the burnt-out bulb to remove it -- see picture. The bulb was dangling by the wires at first but it came apart entirely when I was trying to remove it. I was able to remove the base from the socket pretty easily by shutting off power to the stove (important!), opening a pair of long-nose pliers inside the base to grab it from inside, and turning. I'm not sure whether this is a flaw or if it would happen to any bulb that's inside an oven for 2 years. It happened with the last bulb that lasted a long while too, before I tried using regular appliance bulbs. TIP: Don't screw them in tighter than you have to, it will make it easier to remove if it breaks apart. They're comparable to standard 40W appliance bulbs, with the same brightness, size and base. You need special heat rated bulbs like these for use in an oven if you want them to last long, but I see no reason not to use them in other appliances as well.

It was easy to install. I bought this to replace a dead bulb before the holidays. So far its been a couple months and it is still working. I hope this will last a while.

These bulbs were a life saver!
One day I found myself totally downtrodden and despondent and I had no idea why. It was so bad, in fact, I actually found myself kneeling on the kitchen floor with my elbows on the lowered door and my head inside the oven. Before I could blow out the pilot light and reach up and turn on the gas though, it finally dawned on me why I'd been feeling so down and blue: My oven light bulb was burned out! How long had it been like that?! I didn't know, but I had a hunch that the timeline might actually coincide with my grim feelings. Sure enough! I bought these bulbs, screwed one in and felt immediately better! Like, a hundred percent! The dark clouds had lifted and swirled harmlessly away in the face of this wonderful, wonderful light. And check it out! I've now probably got enough spare bulbs to take me into the next millennium. You know, if I can figure out that whole, "immortality thing". Happy days are here again! From now on, the only head going into my oven will be my neighbor's. If his dog goes on my lawn one more time. Oh no. Did I say that last part out loud? Geez. How do I edit this? I know. Let me try hitting this, "submit" button. That should do the trick.

Burned out quickly, extra small bulbs.
I'm using these for overwintering plants as a heat source in a clamp lamp inside of a plastic covering. One of the four burned out immediately. These are smaller than regular oven bulbs. I have two in operation now with no noticeable issues and one spare.I'm upgrading to 60 watt bulbs as these are not great at heat generation.
