This product exceeded my expectation. I had seen reviews indicating problems with the smoothness of the spinning dials so I was pleasantly surprised when I found that the dials on mine moved relatively easily. It's not perfectly smooth but in no way detracts from the overall product.The detail and design on the exterior surfaces is very cool and it looks as good as the photos show. It's also quite solid and weighty as it is entirely metal (as far as I can tell). It doesn't feel cheap.It comes with a preset code which worked and revealed two "Lord of the Rings" style rings, one in gold one in silver. My ring size is 7.5 and the gold ring was too small by far. The silver ring was even smaller. But I didn't buy this product for the rings so that wasn't an issue for me.It was packaged very well and came with a nice card (for you to give to someone) as well as a screwdriver, 2 small screws and some super glue so you can change the access code if you want. Instructions on how to do that were included. It also includes a chain that you can use to hang your rings on, I guess.Overall, this was a good product and will meet my needs very well.

It comes in a beautiful box with a magnetic clasp and is very presentable. I gifted this to my boyfriend for Valentine's Day after a scavenger hunt (cheesy, I know) but it was so worth it! He loves puzzles and with this it feels authentic, heavy, and sturdy. The rings inside are beautiful and they actually are such a good sizing because they fit both of us accordingly! Everything functioned correctly, there's a screwdriver, glue, and instructions which help indicate how to change the password to whatever you desire. Very well done and worth the money.

This cryptex was much better than I expected. It looks to be well made and has a good feel and weight. I bought one and liked it so much I bought one for my granddaughter. She is going to love it.

Looks nice to display in the gaming room. Well build and intricate in design. You can remove rings and reset password to your 6 letter bestie. Love me some Da Vinci Code, was a great movie!

This little trinket box is very cool! It is heavy and and very well made - not made out of cheap materials at all! It came in a really nice gift box with simple instruction to change the combination code if you want to.This was perfect Valentines trinket gift box! My husband and I love anything Steampunk and this fits perfectly into our funky and cool collection of steampunk treasures. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a ring box or a cool stash box for a gift.Really unique idea for a proposal box for the engagement ring!

Nice metal puzzle with a nice weight to it. The instructions were easy to follow and taking it apart and changing the code is very easy. This was the perfect gift to get for my niece because her name is exactly 6 characters long and the space inside is perfect for little charms and gold dollar coins. The rings are very nice, so those I kept.

I bought this for a home escape room and it is very well made, heavy enough, and when you remove the foam and rings, there is quite a bit of room for a clue or even a key that isn't too large. I changed the code the same day I bought it and it was very easy to do. I took all the rings off and changed each letter and tested it with the tube each time. I had it done within 20 minutes. The rings move very easily on mine, I heard from some that using WD-40 helps with those that may not turn as easily. I would happily recommend this to anyone.Instructions to change the code are not included with the device, but I found these online and it worked perfectly.Use the screw driver to unscrew out the screws on the Cryptex and take out the collar. Firstly aligning the grooves on the ring to the slots on the Cryptex, and then aligning your password of the cipher letter to the slots, secondly, tightening the screws, finally your password has been modified successfully.
