Can you get light bulb replacements at the hardware store? Standard batteries?

Can’t get replacements. Don’t think it has batteries.

I see this comes with usb. does it charge, or must it be plugged in while using?

The mirror shown in the picture is the one I have. There is no USB port. The is a cable that you need to plug into the electrical outlet and to the back of the mirror. Must be plugged in, the mirror doesn't hold a charge. I hope this is helpful and I love my mirror.

What are the light settings?

The makeup mirror's lights are dimmable so you can go from full brightness to really dim. It’s done by touching the left ‘button’!

What happens when a light goes out ?

I haven’t had a light go out! I would contact Amazon about that.
