I have a ring door bell at an out of town condo in a hallway with no power source. So whether I like it or not, I had to go over like every two weeks because of people working in the unit across the hall would trigger it so often. I got this product to provide a constant power source. It is easy to install and works great! You will need to thread it through the back of mounting plate as the doorbell itself has to mount flush against the plate. Other than that, it is a great product and great solution. The cord is long enough to go inside the unit and I needed an extension cord to actually reach an outlet but that is all I needed it to do so I am good. Now I only travel to my condo when I need to and not have to!

After tearing the house apart, at times literally, we failed to locate the transformer to hard wire this was a life saver and honestly works better. The only downside and this is not a knock on the product it is a limitation on Nest end-we do not have the chime with doorbell. But we get notified on phone & hubs. Personally I like it better quiet.

Works for nest hello if you don’t have an existing door bell.You have to drill through the wall, fish plug wire through and connect. For a cleaner install I ran the wire down the wall channel behind the drywall and hid the rest behind base board. Only a 3” section is visible where it comes out behind the base board and plugs into power outlet behind the sofa.

When we bought our new house, it didn't have a wired doorbell. This was perfect for the Nest Hello. I hid the cables with painted cable organizers and it looks great. We just use the Google Home speakers as doorbells. It's nice having one in every room to compliment the Hello.

We purchased a home built in 1900 and apparently it never had any type of doorbell installed previously. I tapped into a nearby light switch and added an outlet for power. This works perfectly and simplified the whole Nest Hello installation process.

Worked perfectly for my wyze doorbell camera.... I had no electricity to my door, just a 70s dingdong doorbell.

Even though I had previously replaced my power transformer when I had a vivint security camera doorbell installed, it still didn't provide enough power for a nest doorbell. This adapter fixed the issue. I'm know almost nothing about electricity or carpentry but I was able to install it in less than 5 minutes.

The description says this works for Ring door bells but I couldn't get it to power up my parents Ring door bell. Guessing it doesn't supply the required voltage or it was simply DOA. Either way, won't be purchasing another.

Compré el adaptador para cargar mi timbre Ring Video Doorbell 2a generación y funciona bien, pero tiene que estar conectado todo el tiempo y permanece el nivel de la batería constante, es decir, si la batería estaba al 80% permanece en 80% pero no se carga más mientras está conectado. Al desconectarlo se baja rápido la batería y no aumenta al conectarlo.
