Vulcan | 0.50mm / 1.00mm / 1.75mm Bat Grip | Baseball/Softball | Multiple Colors

We are replacing another brand of grip that was fewer than 7 months old. That particular grip saw heavy use, easily 3 times a week of heavy use. It began to wear and fray.We are switching to this brand to try something different. We cleaned the bat handle with a goo cleaner and rubbing alcohol after removing the previous grip. We mocked out the fit by wrapping the new grip prior to peeling off the protective layer. Then we simply started at the knob of the bat and slowly worked up. Be careful to not wrinkle as the curve of the handle can vary which may cause gaps in the grip. Angle the grip as you roll to fit the bat best.I wish the stripes were more uniform in depth, but neither here nor there. The field of blue also started earlier than expect and had stripes running partway through. The other downside is that it is much shorter than other brands. However it goes high enough even for adult hands.

My son plays U12 baseball and has a 29 inch bat. This wrap only made it halfway up the grip area of his bat. As a result, the end kept coming off when he used the bat. So I ordered a second wrap to extend the rest of the way up the bat. The grip is nice and comfortable; I think it's good tape. It just did not go as far as we needed.

Works as intended and solid, durable bat grips. They feel good on the hands, and my son like having a thicker grip. Would definitely recommend.

Having just recently experienced how much of an upgrade 1.75mm Lizard Skin bat grip is for improving comfort, I decided to try an off brand to see if it's worth saving money on a bat that's not as important.The feel of this wrap over the stock bat is just about the same upgrade to Lizard skins. If you don't have them side by side it should be difficult to tell the two apart. I marked this product slightly down because the adhesive on the knob side of the bat didn't even get all the way to the skinny tapered part. I am relying on the adhesive that starts about 2" from the end overlapping the tapered area to keep it together. The Lizard skin adhesive went all the way or nearly all the way to the end.This product includes a section of branded electrical tape to complete the wrap, Lizard Skin added an extra strip of the same nice wrap and asks you to find your own electrical tape. Once you cover your generic electric tape with the little strip of Lizard skins your ready to go. If you're really picky about how it looks, that would be the primary difference, this item didn't come with an extra piece of wrap to cover the tape.This grip is a big upgrade from the stock worn out grip it replaced. It's soft and has a nice feel. It should be worth it for a bargain shopper saving 30% from Lizard Skin... But since I have the two brands in the same thickness side by side I can tell the Lizard is slightly more tacky even though it's months older than this grip I just applied. Very slightly, but if you want the best, I would buy Lizard. Value shoppers can settle for this if the price matters that much, it's a good product and I don't have regrets. If the adhesive went all the way to the end of the wrap on this product I might not dock any stars, but since the knob is where you start it, and the start wasn't sticky, I had to hold it with my finger until the adhesive overlapped the tapered end. Minor difference, but I think it's worth removing a star.

This grip looks great and was easy to install, just follow the directions. It does have a little more cushion than I was expecting, but I bought it for a 10-year old's bat, so that may be a good thing. I'm very satisfied with how the bat turned out.

Great product. Take your time applying the grip to your bat. I used a little electrical tape for the ends of the grip to ensure the ends stays in place. I’ve bought multiple times now.
