Does not fit Gladiator Gearwall
I bought these hooks for the Gladiator Gearwall slatboard system. A couple of reviews said they fit and another said it did not fit. Save your time. IT DOES NOT FIT unless you are going to screw it into the wall, and that defeats the purpose, because you will not be able to move it about the slatboard as needed.The original gladiator hooks have a phalange at the top that goes into the groove and another that curls down unto the lower slat to keep it safely locked in place. These Cheaboom slat wall hooks do not have the lower curl to hook unto the slat and I figured the top phalange will keep it from coming out once I put something on the hook. Unfortunately the top phalange is way too short so it does not catch the upper slat.These are reasonably priced compared to the original Gladiator hooks and feel real nice and sturdy. Unfortunately they do not work with the Gearwall.

Not designed for Proslat wall
I purchased at a discount from warehouse deals because there was damage. These hooks seem sturdy but I am using on a proslat wall. These ARE NOT designed to work on a proslat wall as other reviews imply. You can rig them to work with lighter items, not a heavy ladder. If you have a proslat wall, purchase with the understanding that these are not made for that wall. I took the chance because of the deep discount and am okay enough to not send back.

These do not fit gladiator wall!
You can drill these right into the wall. They’re tough and durable. But I bought them specifically because another reviewer said they work great with the gladiator system. They don’t. All all. I have to drill them into the wall solo.

Had to return them because I didn't realize it didn't fit the Gladiator wallsOtherwise it was an excellent buy and I would recommend them for the right hardware

Welding failed on the first installation
The first hook broke right after I installed it, before I even hung anything! The welding appears to have failed. The other five are okay so far. I'm nervous that other hooks will eventually fail before their time. Otherwise a nice product, good size. Note that two of the hooks are narrow. They were good for my hoe and rake, but shovel handles etc. were too thick.

The hooks I received were not slatwall hooks but screw in hooks.
