MFR Right Handed Keyless Door Lock Mechanical Keypad Accent Lever Safety Keypad Lockset for Door- Upgrade(not Deadbolt,Need Drill Additional 4 Holes)

I replaced my thirty-year-old $20 Black & Decker with this saw. O. M. G. It is quieter, more powerful, and more ergonomic, to the point that I was saying, "so this is what a real saw can do." I used a Diablo fine-tooth blade on 5/8" and 3/8" plywood, and had no tear-out at all. If you're using a crappy old saw from the 80s, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this one.

Pro:•I tested it on a 15 amp circuit and it didn't trip the breaker at all like the 15 amp saws will.•It is lighter compared to other saws but really not THAT much lighter. Honestly, it's barely noticeable.Neutral:•Cuts 2x4s just as well as any other saw.Negative:•As some others have pointed out, the safety button is a little awkward and I'm glad I'm right handed or it would be impossible to use.•As with most saws, it doesn't come with a case. I bought one of the 14" Makita tool bags to contain it and it barely fits (and I mean it is a VERY tight fit. You have to wiggle it around to get enough clearance to close the zipper.)

I am a beginner DIYer and first time home buyer. This saw has been a great tool for me in my projects and easy to use. I bought a track for it and have can cut precise/flawless straight cuts. With the saw + track combo I will probably not need a table a saw for now.

Nice light weight saw. Doesn't come with the pictured rip fence. The compatible fence for this saw is Makita 164095-8.

I got this to replace an older saw (different brand) that was no longer cutting square and had significant lateral movement on the cutting axis as well.This is for light duty with a Diablo 60T thin kerf blade and the materials I'm cutting don't tax this 10.4 amp motor at all.

Makita products are a main stay of my work shop that I have been using for over thirty years. It is a quality built product that stands the test of time and use!

Built a backyard shed and a large workbench for my garage used this saw a lot. Very happy with it. Saw blade that comes in it is okay but I wish I would have put the diablo blade on sooner as it really makes a big difference.

Lightweight, nice small motor, tons of power. Cuts so smooth. My husband loves it. (He is a professional carpenter)
