Deluxe Executive Envelope System: Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University (Essential Envelope System)

At first, I was turned off because I thought I needed something a bit more 'colorful' but after using this wallet I actually prefer that it's so basic, it has everything you need without any 'fluff' or gimmicky accessories. This is month 2 of using it and our finances have gotten a lot better, I watch what I spend now instead of just impulse ordering from Amazon like crazy at 11pm (horrible habit I had to break!) Even our grocery bill has lowered.I feel that the quality of the wallet itself is fantastic, no wear after heavy usage, I do need to buy the replacement envelopes but only because we have written on them and need more space, otherwise they've held up just fine.This is a game changer, I'm bummed out that it took us so long to take the plunge into this envelope system!

I bought this system to replace the standard system that we have worn out. After two years of barely fitting the envelopes that we needed to fit in the old one, and having to use a rubber band to keep it closed, we decided that the deal on Amazon for this one was worth it.-The deluxe executive version obviously holds more stuff, and comes with a notepad and pen. (along with all the stuff the standard version has).-The tri-fold arrangement makes it easier to keep all the loose envelopes we have in place.-The closure strap could use some velcro, or a snap, but it has a good enough friction fit for now.-I like the black finish. The flat brown color of the standard version was getting kind of drab feeling.-Last, the only real problem I have with this one is that it is too wide to fit in my back pocket. I found that when shopping, or doing errands, putting this in my back pocket (like the other one) would have been a nice hands free helper.

I am a huge dave ramsey fan and once I found out there was an envelope system I had to trade in my individual mailing envelopes. I like the idea of having room for my debit cards and check book in the system and also the notebook where I can keep track of things to do or bills that need to be paid. The envelopes included are nice to have because you can keep track off the money that is spent out of them every month in a ledger format but are very flimsy and will need to be replaced rather often. I do not use mine to keep track off what goes in and out so I think I would prefer something a little more heavy duty. Over all this is a great tool for anyone using the envelope system for their budget because it keeps everything in the same place.Another perk...it comes with some envelopes that are removable these are great because I can give my husband a couple and still keep the main system with me.

This is the perfect way to keep track of my spending. There is a place for everything and the wallet fits in the front pocket of my bag. I put a mechanical pencil in where the ink pen usually goes so that I could make corrections without having to scratch out. This wallet holds up very well. The only downside, if you want to call it that, is that instead of a snap or magnetic closure there is a strap that slides into band to hold it closed. It is a tight fit and makes opening and closing the wallet a little slower than the people in the check out line behind me would like, but I never have to worry about it opening up accidentally.

My husband and I have been using the envelope system for years, however we were using regular old envelopes, which did work except for when we would leave everything at home. Turning around and going back home is not an option for us because we live about 30 minutes away from town. I love having the envelopes in one location, I generally keep it in my wallet so if any unexpected trips to the grocery store arise I am ready! I also highly recommend watching Dave Ramsey's videos, he talks a lot about making your money work for you, a great concept and not allowing yourself to get sucked into spending money that you do not have on unnecessary items. Get this product, you will not regret it!

Firstly, if it's a wallet it should fit in a pocket. This one, being tri-fold for no good reason, has not 2 but 3 thick heavy (in other words, not intended to bend to the shape of your back pocket against your bottom) sides instead of good strong but soft wallet leather, and it has a clasp/hook thing (why does a wallet that lives in a pocket need to hold itself closed, that's the pocket's job?) that catches on the seam inside the pocket (I wear mostly jeans, this might not be an issue with dress pants), so the only way to fit it in my pocket is to undo the clip and shove the clip inside (so there's nothing to catch on the inside seam of the pocket), then wiggle and jam it into the pocket. There's nothing about this wallet that justifies it ever being more than 1 cm thick, yet it's a little over 4 cm thick, and even emptying it of money and only having a couple checks in there it can be squeezed maybe only 10%. Bottom line is don't expect to carry this in the pocket of your shirt or pants, so you'll need a jacket or a bag, which is often impractical, especially when you're out with your family and the weather is warmer than 70F (which is 9-10 months of the year where I live)

This product makes keeping my cash and expenses together and organised a breeze. The envelopes come with a ton of lines to write down your income and expenses, making keeping track of everything incredibly easy. I also love the card slots and the included notepad. This little booklet is larger than your average wallet, however it keeps everything together and easy to get to, so it's worth the extra space it takes up in your bag

I have been using plain envelopes and writing on them. This will keep me better organized and not as tempted to take money from one envelope and use in another or for something else. It's a nice size though I don't think I will carry it in my purse because it will take up space and I might be tempted to take money out. Very well made!

Don’t normally put on reviews but thought I would for this fantastic product. I am really good at budgeting and allocating money for expenses but there is a lot of things that need cash payment and this is where I fall down. Draw out cash and can’t seem to hold on to it! This keeps me focused and ensures that I don’t overspend! Yes £20’s are an issue but I have just altered the envelope flap and it’s then fine!!

Euroscheine sind zu groß für die "Briefumschläge" und diese sind auch kein guter Aufbewahrungsort für Kleingeld (nicht stabil genug und es kann leicht rausfallen) daher fällt der Überblick über Kleingeld schwer.Gut ist dass alle Ausgaben gleich aufgeschrieben werden können.
