My favorite
This is the best cream of wheat!! I absolutely love it. It's organic, which means non-gmo of course, & that is extremely hard to find in a cream of wheat. This is definitely my favorite brand & I will surely be buying more!

Great idea on high quality farina, bear mush, cream of wheat...whatever your family calls it
Was having a hard time finding this (especially organic) for a reasonable price during pandemic 'shortages' and thought for $9 I'd try it.Some good reviews, some bad, but worth a shot. It payed off. Our family has had this (we call it bear mush) for decades and were low on supply. We didn't at all experience the negative stuff people said. No rocks or discoloration. Good, smooth end result. Also, people who said it came 'rock hard'...well, duh, yes, it is vacuum packed into a brick, which is a good thing for international shipment (this comes from India...). If you cut that brick open, the contents become like you would find in 'loose' product packaging...and since compressed, a lot more volume. Will def purchase again. If you think this review is fake (yes, a lot of this going on at Amazon, unfortunately), look at my other reviews and history.

Delicious porridge in rice cooker
Delicious! I've only used this as a porridge or oatmeal in the morning. So satisfying to cut open the brick package and it softens! You'll see what I mean when you buy it. I cook mine in the rice cooker, maybe 1 cup of Suji because a little bit goes a long way! Sometimes I'll add milk to make it creamier. I need to buy vanilla. Top it with cinnamon and sugar or banana and peanut butter and flaxseed and it's good to go! I also experimented with mixing it with hot cocoa mix when cooking and it wasn't bad! Another time it was good with some maple syrup. When cooking I double the amount of liquids to suji and experimented a lot to find what works for me. It doesn't take long at all to cook and will get thick quick. I do have to stir a lot My rice cooker is cheap dollar store brand, so I have to watch it too make sure it doesn't burn. I use a rubber band and roll the package up for next use but a container would be very good too.Overall I have no complaints and I feel healthy when I eat it.

Organic cocoa wheats!
We love this for making organic cocoa wheats!I pour the farina in a quart jar, add cocoa powder, shake like crazy, then leave in the cupboard. It cooks quickly and evenly, and is smooth every time. Amazing served with butter, maple syrup, and a little bit of whole milk or 1/2 and 1/2.This is my 7 year olds favorite old weather breakfast.

Organic Cream of Wheat at a great price
I feel like stockpiling this Suji because it is so hard to find organic cream of wheat anywhere these days. I regularly scour the internet and my local stores for organic cream of wheat and can hardly ever find any. Thank God for Jiva Organics, who is the only other source of organic cream of wheat other than Bobs Red Mill, who makes a comparable product, but it is regularly unavailable and astronomically priced. This cream of wheat is very fine, cooks up beautifully in minutes and is certified organic as well. I eat it daily for breakfast and am so so grateful for it. Thank you!

Good but has no instructions
This arrived in a vacuum sealed bag that made it as hard as a brick. When the seal is broken, it becomes very loose.I found this with the search "cream of wheat." I assumed that this was cream of wheat, but just from India (which it does say in the descriotionI'm still not totally sure what it is, and there is no recipes for what I want on the bag or website.I tried googling what exactly this is, but am still not sure if this is fari, sooji, or maybe both.I found a cream of wheat semolina porridge recipe on the Allrecipes website and it turned out a lot like cream of wheat but a little thinner, which is nice if you want some as leftovers. I substituted in almond milk, ghee, and coconut necter, and added honey, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom. Turned out really good.

The best farina I've tasted so far
I grew up with Cream of Wheat, and like most eight year olds, I didn't didn't think anything of it. As I got older I switched to cold cereal, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for farina.Which means I've tried a number of different brands. I won't say Suji is the best, but it's right up there, and even better you're not paying for the Cream of Wheat brand name. And it's organic.Farina is one of those binary foods: some people love it, and others hate. There are very few people sitting on the fence. My recipe, such as it is, is a dash of cinnamon and turmeric, a small amount of flax milk and maple syrup to sweeten it.Fantastic!5/5*
