Don't get me wrong, these are not comparable quality to something you would get off the tool trucks but they are certainly plenty good enough for a DIY/Home mechanic or even to get a young apprentice mechanic started when you just can't afford all the quality tools. I'm very happy with them and they have made pulling spark plugs from my girlfriends mini and my V6 3.2l SLK a doddle. They also work well as small diameter hose pliers :-)

I bought this to make removing the spark plug leads from my M112 Mercedes V6 easier - they did a perfect job, no skinned knuckles and no strain on plug cables. Recommended.

fairly well made, fit half inch or so pipes, can't see me wearing them out quickly. all I have to do is find some smaller ones for mowers and motorcycles now.

I had originally attempted to remove some spark plug caps with long needle nose pliers but couldn't access a few without removing other parts. The shape of these allows you to manoeuvre the ends to the right part and also means you won't apply excessive pressure to the parts - easy to do with a normal pair of pliers. I got all the caps off and replaced the glow plugs thanks to this tool, really recommend getting one.
