it looks good but it did not stay together when you got other employees handling it who don't care to be easy with it.

After I broke the one at work, I bought this to replace it. It works smoothly and simply without any problems.

This is pretty much what I was looking for. The design of the open/closing mechanism isn't the same as the ones I remember. it works fine, but I liked the way the old ones closed better. (Some inventions do not neccessarily improve with time..) I'm talking about the ones we used 30 and 40 years ago if you are that old. On the old ones, you just flipped the little arches out on those, put your paperwork on and flipped them back. The new types seem to be a bit more fiddly. All that being said. I am satisfied with it, the quality is fine and it will serve it's purpose well.

I was looking all over for these and I was a little unsure the quality would be good enough for my project I was working on.. and when they arrived I was honestly socked (and not just from the box as it was a little bigger than it needed to be) that they were perfect!

Never closed all the way...finally broke under normal use.

Clamps are not strong

The Arch Lever Clipboard description states that it is "Letter Size" but gives the dimensions for a "Legal Size" clipboard.What was delivered is indeed a "Legal Size" clipboard which is a bonus to me for logging amateur radio contacts. With the extra size, I can use two small binder clips to secure some scrap paper for taking notes while in QSO, a very convenient feature with the longer clipboard, for my use.The "wood" on the clipboard isn't as thick as other clipboards that I have, so I wouldn't recommend it where a lot of people are going to use it and don't take care of things. It's fine for a home or small home office but not for a larger office or to be used in vehicles.The lock/release lever was bent on the one I received, making it extremely difficult to get the paper on the left spike. After straightening the lever, the paper can be loaded as it should.The clipboard's spikes can hold a substantial amount of paper.The metal parts of the clipboard aren't what I'd call heavy duty or commercial quality, but again for home or a small home office it should be fine.I'm torn between three and four stars, it's definitely not a five star item, it's a good purchase for me since I'll be the only person using it.

It was foolscap size, not A4 as it was from the USA. The paper clip holder itself is way too big. Do check before you buy but the pictures can be misleading.

Great product. I had originally received a damaged one where the clip was completely broken however Amazon was great. They promptly replaced it with a wonderful replacement. I highly recommend the clipboard. A reminder is needed that one does need to invest in a 2 hole punch which allows to use the clipboard readily.
