Plaster Gauze 25 Pounds Random Length and Width Pieces Craft Paris

Exactly what I was looking for. This is the most cost effective way to use large quantities of plaster gauze. Some of the pieces were only lightly plastered, however they are still usable in places that need to be workable such as smaller areas. If you want to work with uniform wraps in smaller quantities then hobby stores would be your best bet. But if you are doing larger casting work you will be happy with these random pieces.

There are a lot of transparent threadbare pieces where the plaster did not adhere, which made it probably better to buy the original product - . Don't think I saved anything money wise. It also made it more work. It's luck of the draw I guess with these factory seconds.

Maybe I had too high hopes for this product but when I tried to use it, the plaster didn't liquify very well and didn't adhere very well. It was as if they'd gotten damp previously, not during the manufacture process but after that, and therefore the plaster was ruined.

Okay. It's good quality stuff, and it got here VERY quickly. They processed my order in a prompt manner... but I'll be honest. When i pay for 25 pounds, the product shouldn't weigh 23... (I work in shipping, so I know what I'm talking about.) They should probably change the name to "Approximately 25 pounds random length and width pieces craft paris..."Other than bein off a few pounds, I'd highly recommend.

The rolls are cut offs so some need the edge gauze trimmed off as it may lack plaster, but over all and for the price, fantastic. We created a structure 3 feet tall and 4 feet diameter using screen as the under-structure. It worked much beyond our expectation and with a thin slurry of plaster painted over it, the creation was ready for final paint. This only took about half of one box. I can't wait to make something else.

I actually ordered way more than I needed. I recast a sewing dummy that was an antique and made a cast of myself to add to the sewing experience. I tried talking a friend through the process and she didn't succeed, so there is a certain finesse to it The leftover I will be giving to a movie make-up artist, since they use plaster.

I have been looking for plaster cloth or paper mache. Finding this item was exactly what I was looking for.I used it this weekend on a few art projects I have in the works and it works perfectly.Couldn't be more happy with this product.Thanks again!!

I am making so many mountains and don't have to run down to the hobby store every day to buy more plaster gauze. Best investment I ever made.
