Got to love this old school lifetime movie. Used to watch these with my grandma on Sunday’s. It’s a predictable movie but pretty good. Ladies, don’t believe the me and my wife are not together line. If you guys live together, then NO. If you’re separated, still NO. And that girl didn’t have anything better to do then hide out at every location she went to!? Smh

I really miss the old school Lifetime suspense movies from the 90s/ early 2000s.. they were pretty awesome and Lying Eyes from 1996 is no exception! The newer movies aren't nearly as good and the acting is almost always atrocious as well.Anyway, this movie is definitely a good one. It's about a naive 18 year-old high school student who quickly falls for a charming older guy in his 30s. He soon wines and dines her, buys her expensive gifts and says all the right things. Hmmm... he sounds too good to be true and of course he is. Amy discovers that her perfect boyfriend is actually a married man with two young children. She tries to break it off with him but he insists that he is going to leave his wife very soon and everything will work out if she can just be patient while he tries to end things. Meanwhile, she is being stalked repeatedly by a mysterious person who is terrorizing her and threatening her life. Is it the angry wife who has found out about the affair? Or could it be someone else....?Fast paced Drama/Mystery/Thriller that keeps your attention and keeps you guessing. So glad it's available for a great price on DVD.

Why would a mother of two kids and wife of the cheating husband go after the 18 year old girl and not her husband who is a grown man? With no consideration that her kids could one day be in the same position of great manipulation.

I loved this movie too . Simple and just perfect of our young high school love days of making mistakes and having fun too . I love the story line omg it was just realistic and true to what happens in life today . Thanks for the post I always love movies like this so much . The actor and actress are great actors of today and in the mere past as well . Loved it .

First of all ... I have never even heard of this movie.. It has that USA network kind of feel.. First of all I can relate because when I was 16-18 year old. I had attraction towards much older men. Knowing but not fully aware of the consequences that could erupt from that kind of interaction down the line. So to keep it clean and have my review posted. I will say that every teenage girl from the 1980's-1990's may recall a fantasy of wanting to date and fall in love with an older man. Except that it's illegal if your under 17 years of age and where exactly are the parents..? Before the internet,cellphone's with apps,camera's,wifi and face time. Most high school girls could only dream about "movie stars" and singer's from national recording artist's.. Yes an older man may be a "Dream boat" but more than 20 something or even 35 something ..playing footsy with another woman's husband could create more trouble...like the "Amy Fisher"-Long Island Lolita" case... Or worse the "Alison Gertz" story . All of these young lady's paid a horrible price for messing around with 30-something year old men. I wouldn't do it .... Enjoy your youth,your goals and your education.. This movie was pretty good and every mom should make her teenage daughter watch this movie before leaving home .. Life lesson's..

This is my all time favorite Lifetime tv movie!!!! It takes me back to my teenage days in the late 90s when these movies ruled!! The popular pretty head-cheerleader with the hottest guy in school or in this case, the hottest married guy in town lol. And of course the scandalous drama that naturally comes with this storyline. These movies are predictable but addicting to any woman. Romance novels come to life. I love this though because I feel teenage girls could learn a lot from it. Those perfect dreamy prince charming types are never what they seem but the truth always comes out in the end. The ending of this movie was the shocker for me because regardless of all that played out, the womanizing Derek was right back at it. A must see!!

This might have been an old lifetime movie back in 1996. Cassidy Rae was a gorgeous and talented teenager. If you watch this with your teenage daughter and warn her this could happen to them. But the story was very interesting and great mystery. I recommend it to parents to watch this with their daughters.

This was an underrated thriller about a lying married man picking up young girls and having affairs with them. One of them gets jealous and stalked the other. Good acting.

A very good film about a very pretty 18yr old college student who falls in love with an older man,All goes well at first until she discovers the man is married with a couple of kids and if that wasn't enough a jealous college friend wants to kill her.Very good acting especially from the female lead actress.
