Amazing service
The return and refund process was so smooth and very effective. I was able to return my damaged item the day after I claimed it as damaged. The following day I received my Amazon gift card. Very speedy and smooth process.

Great insurance
I purchased protection for my son's headset since the last one didn't last very long. The one covered with this insurance stopped sending sound to one of the headphones, so we used the insurance and had to send the headset to Asurion. Got a gift card a day after putting the broken headset in the mail. Works like it should. Totally worth the cost since headset didn't last 2 years. Already have a new headset with Asurion protection purchased.

Fast and Easy to Complete a Claim and get Reimbursed!
Had a 2 year and 3 month old fitibit inspire 2 - one day screen wouldn't come on - although it still tracked steps and reported to the app. Took less than 5 minutes to complete paperwork - they already had receipt since both were purchased on Amazon. They sent me a label to ship the defective device back. As soon as I did I received an e-mail with an Amazon credit for price paid. Purchased another fitbit (and new Assurion Warranty!) very pleased!

Easy process
It was incredibly easy and fast to submit a claim.

Claim was paid... after jumping through a couple of hoops
I actually forgot that I had purchased this plan with my Fitbit, so when the device died of an overheated battery while charging exactly 3 weeks after it was out of the manufacturer warranty, I complained directly to Fitbit. I knew they had a history of battery problems and had extended warranty periods in the past because of it. After a week of runaround, they decided that it was out of warranty, but that they would give me a discount if I bought a new device directly from their store. Months later I realized I had purchased this 3-year plan from Amazon with the original Fitbit, so I decided to turn in the claim on the fried device.I went to the website stipulated, logged in, saw the plan for the device, and tried to place the claim. The site just froze up and "spun" for like 10 minutes before I tried closing it out and starting over. When I went back to the site to start the process again, the plan/device I needed to claim was no longer showing up in the account. I went through a bunch of windows before it finally gave me a phone number to call.I called that number, went through several automated prompts telling me to use the website, and finally got to a human Representative. Then I was told I had called the wrong number since I bought my device and plan through Amazon, and that they would transfer me. Got transferred to a number that thought I was calling from the other 800-number, so it couldn't find my account. Finally got to another human Representative, who eventually could see the plan that was no longer visible to me on my account. I told her what happened with the fried Fitbit, she placed the claim, and emailed me a mailing label to send the dead device to them. It took me a few days to find a box to ship it in and print out the label, but once they had notification that UPS had picked up the package, I was emailed an Amazon gift card claim code for the purchase price of my device. I didn't even have to wait for them to receive the package. So yes, it's a good plan, and well worth the relatively small price I paid for it, but I knocked off a star because I shouldn't have had to go to such lengths to place the claim.
