Mosaic Mercantile Wheeled Nipper

after using the above product for a couple of months the wheel broke while breaking mosaic glass tiles. the chuck key whole is also worn out. The right wheel has been loose from the beginning and i need to tighten it up on a regular basis. The left wheel hardly needs adjustment. What do you suggest? I will hold any further orders from Amazon.com until I get an answer to the problem. I am in the middle of a project and have no other substitute for the wheeled nipper.

this is the second time that i have purchased these wheeled nippers from this vendor. i teach mosaics and i am constantly in need of nippers for my students. the product is competitively priced, shipped in a timely fashion and is very satisfactory from a quality and performance perspective.

Didn't like it at all. Had a devil of a time using it so I gave up and returned it.

I'm sure this works fine on some glass tile, but it doesn't give very even lines on my rectangular 1x2 tiles, and if I press too hard, the tiles break. Plus, the way that it is designed, it's tough to get a long cut. You have to chip away at the tile until you get your desired length. That said, for ceramics project, it's probably great. I am using it for a tile backsplash and it's not ideal.

I love wheeled nippers but thought I was getting a different brand. Got generic nipper in opened package with no branding. Does not work as well as others I have used, wheels not adjusted and as sharp.

I needed a way to cut small glass mosaic tile that I was installing in my kitchen backsplash. These nips works amazingly well and were well worth every darn penny! Saved me an incredible amount of time and money.

Have never figured out how to use it. Waste of money

I bought these for my wife. She does china plate mosaic projects. She says they work very well for nipping pieces of china plates, ceramic tile, etc.
