GelPro Designer Comfort Ergo-Foam Anti-Fatigue Kitchen Floor Mat, 20"x32", Pebble Pomegranate

I have bought several cheaper mats with the criss-cross (basket-weave?) pattern and they all separated somewhere along the pattern much sooner than expected.I bought one of these at a discount store and was amazed by how long it held up, so when I saw the same ones at another retailer, I bought two more. I noticed that the one from the discount store didn't have the same coating as the two new ones, so I bought this one from Amazon since I needed three. They are easy to clean and very good-looking. As a side note, the very first mat I bought (not a Gel-Pro) was a long one, but it was way too heavy for me to move and clean properly. Gel-Pro is well worth the money.

I really like this mat and I am shopping around for different sizes and colors. The red is a great color for some areas in my home and I'm back to look for more colors. Some people complained that this mat was too thin and said it was listed as one inch thick, which it was not. It was listed correctly. Next, the complaints of "flat as a pancake" is very misleading. Unless someone expects something thick enough to bounce on, then this mat does the job it is designed to do.I use these in the kitchen and bathroom and also have one beside the bed- because stepping onto a tile floor is very cold in the winter! All my floors are tile. I prefer these mats to area rugs because they can be wiped (not scrubbed) clean easily, and are more sanitary then any carpeting. That is very important for those of us who have had chemo or radiation treatments, which plays havoc with the immune system. Carpeting holds so much dust and all the other things that gets embedded into the fibers, so it isn't the healthiest surface for children to play on. Nor to have around when a family member has asthma which is often made worse by carpet dust and the other things it holds- such as animal dander and hair. Tile is the best flooring to use for ease of maintenance as well as for beauty, as is wood floors for the next best choice -so get a few mats in different sizes and colors, especially if you do have tile or hardwoord floors. Slide them under a bed, or roll them up and put them in a closet if you don't want to use them at times, then bring them back out later on. The only complaint I have is the cost. I think the prices should be about 20 percent lower, so I'll check often for sales.

I bought this smaller Gelpro NewLife mat because it is just like the one my daughter and granddaughter bought me for Christmas in 2016. I love these mats and the 3/4" thickness. The one given to me in 2016 is still in great shape. I am walking and standing on it everyday, and it is still just like new. I would recommend to anyone these mats. They keep their color, they last, they are comfortable and they are sold at a great price. I am now 73 and because I have had degenerative disc disease since I was 27, these mats have help me when standing for periods of time. OUSTANDING MATS!

This mat has more give, yet at the same time, seems to have more support for me than two previous mats I have purchased for my kitchen. Both of those brands were returned very quickly. With this mat, I feel the support and my feet feel more comfortable. During the holidays, my family has been at my house, and we all pitch in in the kitchen. This includes my 9 month pregnant sister (who loves to cook), and she was quite impressed with the comfort it gave her feet and "tree trunk" (her words) legs.And to preemptively answer anyone who might claim I'm a shill for the company, please check out my other Amazon reviews. I am not a Vine reviewer, I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and don't hesitate to return something I don't find to my satisfaction (my UPS delivery guy can verify both of those facts). This was not the first mat I purchased from Amazon (and the other was more expensive and better rated than this one). The other one is on its way back to Amazon, two additional of these are in my kitchen, and I'm considering buying the larger mat for the area around my stove so I have a mat when doing prep work with my food processor and VitaMix.So here is one vote for NewLife by GelPro.

I have this in front of my kitchen sink, and goodbye back and leg fatigue! I have knee, hip, and spine problems and this is by far the best product, not only for these problems, but just in general. Easy to clean is a super bonus. Delivery was incredibly fast too. Thank you for a great product. WELL WORTH the price. The fact that is made in USA and the mfg stands behind their products...two thumbs UP!

Easy to clean, comfort

I have had this mat for several years. Then I had a spray hose burst under my sink, and the mat must have absorbed a lot of water. I didn’t realize it, and didn’t air dry it right away, and it got a moldy smell. Totally my fault! I was lucky enough to buy an exact replacement!

The mat is light but stays on place perfectly. And if I want to move it around a bit is no problem at all... I just push it gently with my feet. It's made of good materials and the good quality shows. I got the pomegranate color and loooove it!! It adds a colorful and warm color to the kitchen.
