Screwed: The Movie

I expected a lot less than I got. Given the title and the cover photo, I was expecting more of a raunchy teen comedy. I was invested in both the story and the characters enough where I may actually watch this one again someday.

In my opinion, had to start it that way, I was entertained, I won't nominate this movie for the best picture ever award, or even the best picture this week but I got some laughs out of it and smiled quite a bit. I was genuinely surprised that I got this much enjoyment from it. Ah, well, there you go when you least expect it...dopey plot but still fun, no name actors but still fun, predictable sure but still fun. Go blank and just ......well, have fun. Kurt David Anderson as Will is quite a find....totally enjoyed him.

It was mediocre. Decent acting and the comedy was ok and these were the only things that saved the film. Interesting premise too, although it's not exceptionally original. Watch if you really are bored and have nothing else to do.However, as a rant - American moviemakers need to stop exploiting other cultures for their "comedy". It's extremely ignorant, racist, unoriginal, and pretentious. The misogyny is also getting old with movies like this. I would've given it three stars if it weren't for those things. They need to move on from those unoriginal standards and do something unique. It's tiring having to see the same ignorant stuff over and over again. Appropriation and sexism isn't cute, but I'm sure it's the only way some of these indie films are even able to be watchable :/

Not what I expected. No nudity, but a lot of sex. I don't know if I'd consider these true to life sexual orgasms, or just bad acting. But, the story itself is funny, a little sexy and over all, not that bad. If your woman is open minded, you could even watch this together. It might stir up some"conversation" between you afterwards.

Not looking for anything deep here but generally an OK movie that could have been much better. Some parts were just so bad I almost gave up but Julie McNiven, the chemistry between Will and Emma, and the ending redeemed it and had me liking it at the end. Also, the music (by Tim Blane?) was OUTSTANDING! Would like to get the soundtrack.

seemed like a real low budget film, despite it was awesome i liked it. plain and simple us men will go through anything for love. worth watching on spare time. Small laughs and good acting that is not main stream hollywood type, though sound can use little more help is all.

The good:It was a LOT of fun.The acting was surprisingly good.The concept was very interesting, and the ending was just right for this kind of movie.Cute dog.The bad:It's clearly a low-budget film.Utterly unbelievable--but really, who cares? It's a fantasy.

Not for children or prudes But light-hearted, comedy - good to watch for a change of pace from whatever you binge on .

Wow, what a terrible film - and I set the bar low before I watched it. Yikes! There's no nudity, which considering the premise is rather hard to believe. And there's no real comedy either...
