I absolutely love this book. It has so much information in it and is beautifully done. It seems to cover pretty much everything you need to know for chicken keeping. I'm so glad I purchased it and have one for when I need to look something up. If you are on the fence to buy, get one!

After borrowing this book many times from the local Library, I decided to buy it. It is too good to not have it on the shelf. Chicken keeping n plain and logic terms, with many DIY remedies for improving the life of your chickens and the quality of your eggs. No matter how long one has had chickens and how much one thinks to know about it, this book will surprise you.

Great addition to my homesteading library.

This is good primer for those of us just starting out with chickens although sometimes I wished for more details and precision. For example, climate is never touched upon - the book seems to assume everyone lives in a temperate climate (not so - I live in northern New England). Lots of good advice about herbs and providing more holistic care. Though I disagree about using essential oils not because they aren't efficacious, maybe they are, but because they are not sustainable. You need to squeeze the life out of a huge number of plants to get a tiny bit of EO. They are a resource intensive product that to my mind perpetrates the exploitation of plants while being marketed as green when they are anything but. Anyway -- a good book for beginners who want a more natural approach to caring for chickens.

The authors went above and beyond in this wonderful book! It was was professionally written and was the first time in a VERY long time that I’ve seen a book scream quality at me! My first book didn’t arrive at all, Amazon said they thought it to be lost, I wasn’t sure if it was worth it to order another one. I am so glad I did!D. Saunders

This book is full of great information. Very well organized and easy to follow. Lots of good recipes and helpful tips.

Didn't have a chance to read it as yet, but it does seem very interesting.

Quick delivery and this book is fantastic !! Really really helpful for the novice hen keeper and her vast knowledge would teach more experienced chicken Mums and Dads too. Brilliant.

This book gives lots of useful tips and recipes for the care of your flock in a wholistic manner, mindful of the Earth and the health of the chickens.
