Q: I'm buying this for an 8 year old....waist is 29.5" and hips are 33". Should I order the 11-12 year old size...?

I ordered a ladies medium. For my 8 yr old that normally wears a 14-16. I will return for a large or X-Large. Totally Asian sizing. That means go up 2 sizes

Q: Can you tie-dye the white skirt?

You could, but the skirt is polyester so you need synthetic dye. Even then it would only come with pastel colors. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Q: is there any elastic in the skirt waist?

Yes there is. In the back! That’s why it’s all scrunched up!
