Buying this set saved me a lot of money compared to what the big box store sell them for. Cutter went through with one cut. Crimper and clams were simple and easy to use. Holding well.

Cost Effective Alternative to Buying from the Big Box Stores
I am using this to put in a new electric tankless hot water heater into my home. I felt a bit reluctant to purchase pex cinch clamp fastening tool for the small amount of work I needed it for from a big box store, so I felt the pricing was adequate for the amount of use it would get.Operation is fairly straightforward and none of my clamps leaked, for that I am happy about not having to redo work. I did find it very difficult to get the clamping process started. I found myself fumbling trying to get fully seated on the small clamp without it twisting or moving out of place coupled with trying to get enough leverage to start the crimp due to the 150 degree-ish starting angle of the handles. I did like that once you got started on the crimp it would lock in place and you couldn't remove the tool until it was fully depressed. it is well built and I didn't have any issues with the rubber handles sliding around. The issues I did have could have just been something that plagues all crimping tools, I don't know. Overall it served it's purpose, affordably.
