Animal Sounds (A Golden Sturdy Book) Kindle Edition

I bought this because my daughter loves to hear me sound out any noises when reading to her. I buy all of the ‘sound’ books I can, but it’s so hard to find them! She gets excited when I make the noises (animal, car, clock, etc.) and starts babbling herself. I love how these books make her smile!! When I search ‘noise’ or ‘sound’ books, I just get results for the electronic ones. I wish there were a simpler way to find ‘read the sound’ books...we need more!!!

Bought this book for high reviews. Wanted to get my one year olds starting off right with animal sounds and speech development. Point off for some of the sounds, like dog should be "bark" or "woof" not "arf," but maybe thats just my thoughts. Kids love it.

My girls loved this book when they were little now my grandchildren are enjoying it. I am so happy to be able to replace the original book. I gave it to my daughter at her baby shower and she opened it and said Mom isn't this the same book I loved.

This is a wonderful book full of every farm animal you can imagine. Your child will be mooing and clucking and oinking right along in no time. I’ve read this with all three of my kids and they all loved it as babies. It goes a great way to help with language. It’s so simple but your baby will light up when you read it to them. Great for even tiny babies. It really helps them start to recognize animals and put sounds to the animal. Love it!

Our 18 month old loves this book! We didn't want a book that had buttons that made the noises. We also wanted to focus on animals he is more likely to encounter (not zoo animals). All of the animals have the sound spelled out for you, so anyone reading the book will be consistent. It includes dog, cat, mouse, rooster, chickens, pigs, turkey, horse, flies, bees, crow, birds, sheep, goat, owl, and others.

Loved this book for my own children. Can't wait to read it to my grandson. This was a replacement for a very old, much loved book. Highly recommend. Fun to read. Sturdy.

This was one of my favorite books as a child. It's been in print for decades. I purchased this for a feisty little boy who turned 1 year old this month. His babci told me he loves it when she reads him animal stories, so I just had to get him my favorite animal sounds book and share it with him.

I had this exact same book when my son was little and he is now in his 30's. It was so much fun making animals noises together and having him close on my lap. I didn't keep his childhood books, but, as he is now a new father, I was beyond thrilled to be able to order this copy. I know my grandbaby will enjoy this book, too.

Got impression that book had buttons to press to make the sounds. You have to make the animal noises yourself. For special needs child who likes to push buttons and hear sounds.
