I was most concerned with the image quality since this is "supposed" to be an otoscope. For the price vs. quality it pretty good. You can adjust the brightness with the dial control on the wire and also multiple attachments to scrape out your nasty ear boogers. Thank goodness my ears were bright and shiny! Make sure to ADJUST brightness to improve picture quality.The device does get warm depending on brightness. Like a warm compress in your ear. Not painful.Due to your ear canal being very sensitive trying to maneuver the plastic attachments can be painful. The attachments are fitted onto the camera end but the corners and edges of the attachment clip scratch the inside of the ear. One false turn and you'll flinch. There are different lengths but trying to get the ear booger WITH the camera is a NO-GO. you can't see inside your ear because it's too far away to get a good picture. You will need help from someone to hold the camera and use a separate booger scratcher while watching the screen.The device uses a Micro-USB connection and a standard USB so using your phone may be difficult. I used a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and it worked just fine. If you plug into the PC it will work with the default windows camera app.OVERALL it works great. Stick it up your nose, run along your dead skin, investigate your mysterious mole, focus on areas where the sun don't shine, etc. Basically works better than your cell phone camera at close-up shots. PLEASE DON'T SELF-DIAGNOSE. this is merely a device to help see what's going on. GO TO A DOCTOR...with close-up nasty pictures.

I'm an audiology student and this is awesome! Super portable, easy to connect to smartphone. As a future audiologist, it's a great tool to show family and friends their ears and raise public awareness of audiology and hearing health. The camera quality is beyond what I expected for such an inexpensive product! I would 100% recommend this! Several other students I've showed this to have purchased it as well. And the ability to take photos and videos is a great perk.

Got this to work on my 3 year old son even though he was very resistant at first. Got a clear picture inside his ear. I did try to use this on myself and it seemed very difficult to get the right angle without seeing what I was doing. I used this with a macbook pro without any issues.

As someone who gets ear infections I got this so that I could better determine if I needed to go see my doctor or not. The product works pretty well and I recommend it, especially at this very reasonable price. If I had one thing to ask for it would be higher resolution on the camera, but that is probably nit picking.

It took me awhile to actually use this camera. I thought it would be harder to set up than it actually was, but it was just my computer. When I tried it on my daughter’s laptop, it was so simple! And I think great quality for the price!! My family loves watching YouTube videos of earwax removals and Dr pimple popper, so the purchase was really just for fun. But I wish I would have known about it when my kids were younger and in their ear infection stage, it would’ve been so useful. You can see the eardrum so clearly. I almost hope one of us gets an ear infection soon just so I can compare🤭

I bought this to help see inside mine and my kids' ears. I could not be happier. The software is easy to install and easy to use. There is actually no "installation", it's just an executable that runs on your PC. The picture quality is great. I'm so glad I bought this.

Wouldn't connect to my phone because it doesn't fit all the way into its adapter, but it worked great on my computer (Wimdows 10). I found using the booklet text to orient the camera and check that there wasn't anything on the lens, and putting the light at about half brightness worked well. It does get pretty warm. The black things work well, but the clear picks were basically useless, at least for what I needed. Saved me having to go to the doctor to check why my ear was hurting, which is plenty worth it for me.

VERY impressed with the image quality from this. I could see the veins on my ear drum. Really cool.Took a couple of attempts to get my computer to recognize it but it did and it's great.It should help us see if we have an ear infection before we go to the doctor.
