Best Family Gift
This projector is very easy to use. It's also small and portable. It has a high definition. It's also very smart. It's a very good family gift.

Powerful and compact for small presentations.
This is a great compact tool for presentations. Traveled across country to do a presentation. Loaded the PowerPoint app, loaded the presentation onto an sd card and that's all I needed. Used the remote control to toggle pages. The picture is legible in a room with ambient light, but gets washed out. A dark room gives you a much better picture. You get a very big screen TV size image when the machine is about 6-8 feet from the "screen". Obviously bigger as you get further away.A few minor issues. There is fan noise. Not horrible, but not silent. There is a moire effect caused by the lamp when it's projecting a blank white image.I'd definitely recommend this for conference room and small room presentations. This is basically a smart android phone with a projector and without the phone function.

Fantastic portable projector, sharp picture
The pico projector is very easy to set up and to use. The picture is perfectly decent even when projected onto my white living room wall.I don't have a TV in my bedroom , this small projector which can begreat put in my bedroom and neatly tidied away, just brought out occasionally like for birthday party when everyone is downstairs is ideal for me and this does the trick. The projector wouble be perfect to watch in yard during night, the picture quality is good, although due to the large size of the image, small text (eg if using it to display internet pages) is clear. For actual films and TV programmes the picture is sharp enough for me.I like how it comes in a portable size and with Ethernet port. I can see myself taking it away on holiday if going somewhere with no TV. It would have been nice had the remote come with batteries. It would also have been nice if it could automatically focus, it need seconds to adjust focus for clearer image.

Movie night
So I kind of stumbled across pico projectors while surfing the net. Started researching to find what would be the best one. Went with this one. Never heard of Hariscool before so kind of Leary. Got it anyway. So far I love it. Rather easy to operate but the OS is rather disappointing and antiquated. I dont like that you can't upgrade it or any of the built-in apps. Also read reviews where folks complained about fan noise. They are right. Fan noise is harsh. But when outdoors external speaker volume will drown it out. Also not impressed with the short battery life.Having said all that, I do love it. The picture is awesome. We are having movie night [outdoors] this weekend and cant wait to show it off to the family. Connected ext. Speakers and when the sun went down we kicked it on and was pleasantly surprised. I love it, the wife loves it.One other thing . I have noticed that a couple of times when surfing you tube I backed out of a. Ideo and all of the sudden the interface either froze or went to a slow crawl. Had to reboot which fixed it. Still not sure why this device will not function after upgrades. But anyway it is still well worth the money for what it gives

Read before you buy
Where do I start. The speaker is on the bottom of the device. The sound is muffled if placed on a table. It does get better if device is on a tripod buy it is still not loud enough to be clear in a small room. Speaking of tripods... The device battery must be on the side of device. This makes it difficult to balance on the tripod. Picture quality is good however the fan runs loud and vibrates the device causing it to lose focus due to the loose manual focus knob. Thought having Android on the device would be good... Most apps are no longer supported on Android 6 and the ones that are avaliable dont work well. Device kept freezing while using Plex and HBO apps. Device is advertised as 300 ANSI lums. My other projector that's 100ANSI lums is brighter. I will say the contrast on this projector is better then my other and it is noticable. I rated battery life in the middle because I had the device plugged in and only used battery for short time. I am not the best to ask about battery.

the loudest projector yet
I've always wanted to know how the cheap no-name brand projectors perform, and compare them with my picopro and nebula mars 2.Haidiscool is easy to set up with a decent picture quality, absolutely no 300 ansi lumens but alright in a pitch black room, however the fan on this thing is louder than the streets outside and my ps4 fan combined. The refreshrate is terrible. and with Android 6.0 let's you download absolutel nothing new. No Netflix, no Youtube. The operative system feels obsolete and sluggish.Sending it back

Not good for streaming apps
There's a few minor issues like you can't clear out notifications and the remote is a bit slowBut the main issue for me is that you can't play hbo at all and Netflix may or may not function but you can't scroll thru episodes in a season anyway so if you like watching shows it doesn't really workThe problem might be the 2 year old operating system that you can't update or maybe something elseIt's really a shame because the picture is really nice and the brightness is pretty good even the sound is good
