Cute pattern, Tough enough to last, Great for Wide Calves, Comfy too!
I needed a pair of muck boots for protection against water, mud, snow, etc. Most of these type of boots are OK for the job but tend to be very uncomfortable. These low boots are comfortable and come in 1 pattern with 2 background colors (black or blue). I just wish Sloggers would make these style boots in more patterns. These low boots are perfect for folks with wide calves. (Sloggers website states their tall boots have a calf circumference of 14" max.)Made in the U.S.A. and have removable & easily replaceable inserts. I would recommend for 1/2 sizes (US) go up or if you know your European size, go with that #.With the recent, crazy weather, I've already used these in mud, rain, & snow. They kept my feet dry from the elements & were easily cleaned up by just hosing off. They have a substantial tread so walking in snow & ice was pretty good! Definitely does the job! These low boots are substantial & I think they will last me for years. I'm already looking at getting a pair of Sloggers Comfort Shoes.

I think I Found "The One"!
If you, like me, want something you can actually wear out grocery shopping or running errands, (as opposed to only needing to be comfortable enough to garden in) with an affordable price, give these a try!I live in the Pacific Northwest (aka 9 months of RAIN) and in 18 years here have never owned rainboots. I've tried a few pairs recently, but just don't care for the stiff feeling and discomfort of long-term walking. While not like "stepping into heaven", for rainboots/shoes these are pretty comfortable. I am SO excited to find a waterproof shoe I can wear around the better part of a day.First impressions:* I wear a 6.5, ordered a 7 per manufacturer suggestion. They feel more than a half size bigger, but I can live with that. I may try half-sizing inserts, but these are comfy enough as is. I kind of wonder if a size 6 would work though.* Staying on great, as opposed to some reviews of the slip-on style. Some complained of kicked-up water going down inside the shoes of the shorter, slip-on style. These won't have that problem. But unlike the calf-height boots, these don't feel too stiff or awkward to walk in, They're nice and flexible even at the ankle. I just got these and immediately went outside to hang porch decorations - up and down a step ladder a hundred times. These boots didn't hinder me at all and I took no notice of what was on my feet.* Go on easily (with two hands anyway) - no tugging or effort needed. Come off VERY easily, thanks to those helpful tabs. NO hands needed for removal.* Colors are bright and beautiful. I ordered the Midsummer Blue style, mainly because I had limited options for my size. But I think they look great!I just got these and can't speak yet for durability, clean-ability, or all-day comfort, however I will update if anything comes up.

Slogger's Garden/Rain Ankle Boot
I bought these shoes primarily to use while working in the yard. I live in FL and it's warm here so I run around in flip flops most of the year. I have some rubber flip flops and also some rubber Crocs that I wear to do yardwork. However, I am sick and tired of my feet getting totally filthy and nasty, with dirt under the toes, etc. Old tennis shoes with socks would probably solve the problem but I decided I wanted something waterproof since I water my flowers with a hose. Tennis shoes aren't. After much searching online, I decided to give these shoes a try for my gardening. They are pretty good. The ONLY thing that I don't care for is that they are a bit hard to slip on. I wear a size 8 but I do have a high arch. These shoes are slip on with no zipper opening or anything like that. It turns out they are kind of hard to slip on. Actually, it's a real struggle to get them on. Once I do finally get them on, they fit just fine and are quite comfortable but getting them on my feet is a pain. I had hoped to have something that I could just keep sitting there by the back door and just sort of hop into them whenever I go outside to putz around in the yard. Not with these. I have to sit down on a chair, put a very thin pair of socks on (it helps them slide over the foot easier than just bare skin) and struggle my way into them. That's the only negative. At least my feet are staying cleaner and in better condition now though since I'm covering them up and keeping them dry. They do also serve as rain boots too. I wore them out and about the other day because it was raining and it was sort of nice not getting my feet soaked like I usually do in flip flops or sandals or even in tennis shoes. The other thing is that I think they are a bit pricey. I'm not one to spend much money on shoes so, for me, spending $35 or whatever it was on gardening shoes was a stretch. They seem to be pretty sturdy and well made. Only time will tell for sure about that though. I just got them in December.

love them!
When these arrived I was going to send them back because how was i going to get them on. My arthritic fingers couldn't grip the pull tab at the back and the hole was small. I grabbed my long shoe horn and the boots went on like a dream. Now as long as i don't take them off where there are no shoe horns to get them back on again, they work well. Wide feet?? (D width) They are comfy.

Too narrow
Hard to get on and off and they are really narrow, so I almost never use them. I like the pattern and style of them and the tread on them is sufficient for my gardening purposes. I prefer the ankle-less Sloggers because they are easier to get on and off, even if this style is better at keeping dirt, water, and snow out.

Perfect for the garden or coop!
I have a pair of these, the shorter version. Wanted something a bit taller but not boots. These are perfect! So comfortable, and not too heavy. Love the chicken print! Sloggers are the best in the garden or the coop!

Best rain boots ever!
Fabulous rain boots. Well made and great soles for traction. The design repeated in the sole is a great touch. I will be buying more of these! ππ»ππ»ππ»
