This is very similar to the Timex watches, but less expensive. I've taken a shower with it, and no issues as expected. Controls are large and intuitive. Fairly standard really, I've owned a number of similar watches in the past. Some of the less expensive Chinese copies have weird controls, but this one actually makes sense.The backlight also works well. So overall, I'm happy.

This sport watch for man is an AWESOME watch! Im a watch collector freak & was looking for something to wear when working outdoors so if scratched, no big deal... but this watch is SO NICE. i wear it daily & dont want to subject it to those harsh working conditions. I love the size of it (i have slightly large hands/ wrist) and can see it without my reading glasses, yet its not so big that it gets in the way or looks gaudy.I love the way the day/ date & times are laid out on the watch: large display, simple & to the point. The band is really comfortable too. This watch is a bargain at this price. I even leave it on the table as a day, date, time display thats always available at a glance. The button that illuminates it is in the perfect spot (top left) as are the rest (so as not to keep hitting buttons by accident or have them sticking you when you move). I plan on buying a few more to give out to friends as xmas/ birthday gifts & will get one for my cousin (who is also a watch freak) photo to follow soon

I've had a lot of watches. Whether it's a 9 dollar watch or a 50 dollar watch, it pretty much always breaks a band within a year. This review won't be about durability, because I break all watches, and thus am not a good judge (I haven't broken it yet in the week I've had it).This watch advertises itself as easy to read, and that is true. The dial is quite large and easy.My issues are with the fit of the watch and the alarm. The holes in the band are just too large and too far apart to make it comfortable. My options are either too tight, and cutting into my wrist, or too loose, and spinning on my wrist.As for the alarm, there is no good way to turn it off. You cannot just click it once to disable the alarm. You have to click about 6 times on different buttons to turn off the alarm so that it does not go off again in 5 minutes. After that, you have to remember to turn it back on later. If you disable the alarm and then turn it back on within 5 minutes, it will go off again. It's just poorly programmed.One other note: The alarm is not that loud. I'm a pretty light sleeper and it has failed to wake me.Now, if your wrist happens to be the right size, and you don't use the alarm much, this could be a great watch for you. It's just not what I was hoping for.Hope this is helpful,J

I've had this watch for over a year and it's been the best investment I've made in a long time. I work in construction and I do a lot of mechanic work with this watch, and it always gets beat up. But at the moment it only has small surface scratches. The. Scratches never bother me that's how small that are. I always deal with dirt and when its hand washing time .. all the dirt comes off. It just never sticks to the watch its weird. Dont let the price make you think this is crap ... I'm about to buy another in a different color band. Also what's weird and cool. the layout is weird and cool. I look or my watch for it's time first and I like how it's the biggest. Then I look for the day .... I always remember the date but always forget the week day so. They decided to make the the week day 2nd biggest. Its weird but this watch us always easy on the eyes when looking for information. Just stop looking and buy this damn watch hahaha

I have only had this for less than a week so take that into consideration when you read my review. I have spent a bloody fortune on watches. And none of them have really done an excellent job of doing the very basic requirement of telling time and being easy to read when I am in the dark and without my glasses on. This one does that. Is is easy to get, easy to read, has an excellent nite light and very comfortable to wear. I have been keeping track on how accurate it is and so far, it is keeping time with my smart phone. The best part, it was under $20. I can break it, buy another, break that one, buy another, and break that one and buy another and still have spent less than what I spent on a Casio watch that is hard to see and not really good in the dark. This watch is a keeper!

Intended for gym use only, this watch, like another before it (went to my son) is an ideal layout for LED watchface. Simply day/date/time reads large and clearly, not cluttered as some military style watch faces can be.While it claims to be waterproof to 50M, have never swam with watch but do shower without a hitch. Face is uniquely readable in all light, and in the dark a backlight illuminated the numerals and characters perfectly.Watch has smooth look with flat bezel, and the same four buttons for light, mode, and seeing are there but set more deeply into watch body, not as protrusive. Time keeping is spot on. Can't go wrong with this watch and cost is a couple Caramel Macchiatos. Highly recommended from a watch nerd.

For the price, this is a very nice digital watch. The watch is big, so if you have a small wrist or like small watches with a "low profile" this might be too big. Otherwise, it's what it is supposed to be: a very basic digital watch that isn't meant to last for a decade or more. I really like the large numbers that are easy to read. Time/date adjustment is very simple as well. I wear this when I'm doing chores or doing any kind of work that might soil or damage my more expensive watches. At this price, if it lasts 2 - 4 years after hard use, you've gotten your money's worth. I'm very particular about my timepieces and wouldn't hesitate to buy this one again.
