Anchor Engine Mount - 9297

2007 Honda Accord 4cyl stopped rattling and thunk noise. I’ve used this same part number on my 2003/2006 Honda Accord aswell. V6 and 4cylinder

Out of all 3 mounts on my 2003 Accord V6, this was the easiest! I see a lot of comments about the mounting ear on top of the mount being "off" or tilted, but it's meant that way! Note the position of the old mount's top ear when removing it, and install the new one exactly as the old one. Installing the new one onto the engine mount bracket first, then the frame, makes for easy installation. I recommend this mount, it's been a few weeks now and vibrations are all gone! If anything goes wrong I'll be sure to hop on here again.

I purchased this to replace the passenger side engine mount on my 2005 Honda Accord with the 2.4L engine and manual transmission. The lower half of the mount is an exact match for the OEM mount I replaced. However, I could tell the top tab that mounts to the engine is slightly rotated compared to the OEM. Once bolted in, there was also a 3/8" gap between the mounting tab and the engine bracket. I thought maybe I had the mount in backwards, so I rotated it 180 degrees and the gap was worse. The twist was not so bad that the bolt couldn't be aligned. And once the bolt was tightened down, the mount tab was pulled towards the engine bracket and the gap and twist disappeared. But it does make me concerned about how long the mount will last under the added stress. Time will tell, I suppose.

The mount is just like oem and my car feels like new again. These anchor mounts are well made and a fraction of the cost of oem. You cant go wrong with this mount. Edit: I got about 2 years out of the first mount I ordered another one in the second one doesn't fit. I am hard on my car driving every single day at least 75 miles. The first mount would have lasted longer for your average driver. The second one is clearly a manufacturer defect. The mounting is off by about 20 degrees. I'm stuck using a torn mount because of this. Not cool. I'm coming from a beck and arnley mount that only made it about a year and was double the costs of this. If you get lucky and it actually fits it will last a few years minimum. The first picture shows how far off the mount is compared to the others.

This part fits into the category of sorta fits. all the bolt holes sorta line up and the tab at the top of the mount is sorta clocked right. I have 3 years of experience selling aftermarket auto parts and almost every Ancher motor and transmission mount is like this. the bottom line is if you need something that will get the job done and you don't care about vibrations, difficulty of installation or life span of the part, but you need a cheap part to get you going this is the part for you, just don't expect quality at this price and there is a 99% chance the car will vibrate at idle. Now if you are looking for a proper part that will last and perform, don't waste your time and just buy OEM part made by Honda.

This was actually a pretty easy motor mount. We put the car on ramps to raise it then jacked up the engine which relieve the pressure on the mounts and it was a few screws and a very important main ground screw that broke for us, so be careful!!

OK this is an edit, the part is taller than the original (why only a 4) and took too long by amazon standards to get here (had to order twice). But once I raised the engine then reassembled all the bolts and got alignment it works great. Was the issue with the TL shaking at start-up and the hard hits on bumps. Going to order the other two and get them all changed out now...took 15 minutes at most...raise the engine!

Center mount pint was out of alignment slightly .

Affordable price from amazon.Mechanics told me $230 for this part and $120 for labor. Total expense = $350.Bought it from amazon, replaced by myself. Really easy to install. Saved a lot money. Really happy. Thanks

Picked up the side engine mount for my 07 Acura Tl-S 3.5L. The mount fit perfectly and install was a breeze; but either I received a defective dud or they are not made anywhere close to the same quality as OEM as within 2 weeks it seems to have developed play.
