This works really well at keeping the flies etc out.The positives :1. The magnets (which are sown into the edge) work really well and clamp together as you pass through.The negatives:I’ve put more negatives than positives but they are small niggles really and it certainly wouldn’t stop me buying this product again. In fact it’s the 3rd set I’ve bought! I get a new set every summer cos they do start to go a bit yellow in the sun after a few month plus my cats claw holes in them!1. I don’t really like the ‘frilly’ bit at the top as I’m a ‘minimal’ kind of person.2. I would prefer the curtain to be a bit more ‘see through’ as I have a nice view into my garden and because the curtain has a heavy print on it it does mask any view slightly.3. The curtains are held up mostly by sticky VelcroThis works brilliantly. However this HAS marked my French doors as when you remove the Velcro the sticky residue is still there. You could probably remove it with something like nail varnish remover? However it would be a lot of hard work. I’m not bothered because I just cover the residue with a new set of curtains every summer so the marks don’t show but this might annoy some people!4. They don’t always close completely as you pass through but I would say 90% of the time they do.If that happens I just adjust them slightly when I’ve passed through so the flies can’t get in.All in all a fabulous product! I really hope they never stop making these because I would be gutted if they did! I’ve tried loads of other designs from other companies and none are a patch on these.
