Great beginner turntable
I'm very pleased with this turntable. It was an upgrade from a cheap Crosley suitcase-style record player, and the sound quality is miles ahead, comparable with the great JVC component stereo system I had in my youth back in the '80s. The speakers are small but pack a punch, especially in the bass. Setup was smooth and easy. Please note that the speakers are powered separately, so they will need to be plugged in along with the turntable itself. You can connect the turntable to a stereo receiver if you want to, but this is a standalone system that will get you playing your vinyl in a couple of minutes. Comes with a nice record-cleaning kit that seems pretty high-end. If you have the speakers set up right next to the turntable, as in my photo, the entire space needed is about 26" wide, so it fits in a compact space. Highly recommended. EDIT: I forgot to mention my one regret about this turntable, which is that it does not include an auto-return or auto-stop feature, so when your record is done, it will keep spinning for infinity until you manually stop it, which could wear down both the needle and the record if you forget and let it keep playing. Otherwise no complaints.

Wow! Great sound - so affordable!
The media could not be loaded. I’m in love with this turntable/speaker package! Just got it tonight - it was delivered quickly and safely, very simple to set up, and I think the sound quality is amazing for a real actively inexpensive system. I love the compact nature of the speakers but don’t let size fool you - they pack a punch, with great bass.I added a quick video of the first thing I played on it. There’s some hum in the background from our refrigerator (lol) but the system itself sounds great in person.Im a very happy camper.

Bought two
Got one for my son who loves his. Terrific sound for the average user. The speakers are very good, really almost more valuable than the turntable. Got my daughter one for her dorm room. Similar satisfaction.I have 1967 print of Sgt Peppers and it was stored away at my mom’s for many years. Significant warping. The player handled it fine with no distortion which is crazy. I inherited hundreds of vinyl records, many haven’t been played in 35-45 years. They sound just amazing. (I have the Bluetooth version of this player and pump it though my shelf system.)Very pleased.

Couldn't be happier
This has been a perfect turntable for us. We are beginners and it was so easy to assemble. The sound quality is amazing. Highly recommend this model to anyone, especially beginners like myself.

I wanted to give it a little time to review. I love it!
Great all around. The speakers sound really nice, and I consider myself a audiophile. Not perfect, but for the price and simplicity, very impressive.

Great player and decent speakers, but didn't receive all cleaning items
The player is just perfect! Speakers are good, obviously could've have better bass but the sound is still pretty decent. Great option for somebody who just started a vinyl collection and wants to get everything in one package. Much easier than trying to find and set up everything separately. Probably will upgrade my speakers in a while but for now it's just perfect!! Taking off one star because I didn't receive all items of the cleaning kit. Not a big deal but still when I order a bundle of items I want to receive everything

Great all in one package!
I spent years playing in bands and recording in high end studios, so I have an ear for music. The LP60 is the turntable that pretty much everyone says to start with. Enjoying high end gear as I do, I looked at several more expensive turntables before reluctantly purchasing this package. I figured I would want an upgrade pretty soon but this would get me started. I have played over 40 records on this thing (some multiple times) and I am more than pleased with this turntable. You can hear the warmer/brighter tones that a digital file loses. Instead of upgrading my turntable, I will gladly keep the LP60X and use my money to buy more records. The speakers are great as well. I saw some reviews where people stated that the do not get loud enough and there is not enough bass. Understand that you are buying 3.5" speakers. You will not blow your windows out with these, but the bass, volume and overall sound quality are great for their size. My music room is in our front room, which is also where our washer and dryer are located. I can have both machines running and still feel the bass in the floor and hear the music just fine. One note, for a couple days in the beginning, the tone arm would occasionally not return home properly. This was very irritating because it would keep the record spinning until you manually fixed it. The problem seems to have fixed itself. After getting broke in I have not had it happen at all.Overall I love this setup and I am very glad I went with it.

Well F*** me, these tiny speakers are powerful
The media could not be loaded. Easy to set up — just follow the instructions. I’m not sure why so many people are surprised to see that you have to plug these speakers in. I see some people here saw the power chord and arbitrarily decided to ignore it? Anyway, first record played was King Woman - Celestial Blues and well… it blew me the fff away. The bass tones are so rich and powerful. It’s a thing of beauty that brought a tear to my eye. Whoever says these things aren’t as loud as they wanted, must have stood too close to the speakers at one too many shows or has a McMansion. The record player itself is easy to use and everything I need. I did the research and If all you’re gonna do is listen to records just go with the belt drive and save yourself $150 bucks.
